The property was likely the best VRBO rental we've ever had, and we have had a lot. Everything was immaculate! It was absolutely perfect, and the host family was fantastic and very helpful. I highly recommend this property and Gutach as a destination.

Perfect stay in a perfect location.

We stayed here for a week in early July and had a fantastic holiday. Hans and Anna are perfect hosts, cheerful, friendly and very welcoming, and and their garden apartment that we stayed in was immaculate and fully equipped with everything that anyone would ever need. The apartment is in a beautiful village with a bakery, bank, several good places to eat and drink and a supermarket. We had a busy week filled with lots of fun and interesting things to do and most of them within a few km where we were staying. I'd recommend staying here in a heartbeat, it's a beautiful location with friendly people and plenty to do for both kids and adults. Thank you Hans and Anna for a lovely holiday.

Perfect place to enjoy the Black Forest

This was my first stay in the Black Forest, and it was delightful. Anna greeted me in the driveway upon my arrival, made me feel welcome and comfortable and quickly oriented me to my home for the week. She provided me details of getting to the butcher and baker, less than 1km away and access to a path to hike that afternoon. Gutach is a wonderful location for visiting the Black Forest, with hiking trails near, restaurants, butcher, baker, grocery and museums. Anna’s cottage is just off the main highway, providing quick access to these things, but far enough away that it is very quiet. The cottage contains a neatly organized binder with updated information about the area and you will receive a KONUS free transit card for bus and rail as well as discounts to area places. Anna is my measure for a 5 star clean residence; her cottage was impeccably clean. The furnishings were simple yet updated. The bathroom is updated and kitchen appliances all functional and easy to use. There are ample dishes and cookware, but if anything is needed, Anna will be there with a choice of items to meet your needs. The table and bed linens were fresh and ironed, as were the window treatments. There is an outside seating area for eating a meal, reading a book or just relaxing. Anna brought me a lounge chair to make it most enjoyable. The seating is under the eaves and I was able to comfortably be outside even in the rain. You will need to bring your own condiments for cooking as well as toiletries, which I prefer. I had need for WiFi to conduct business during my stay, though the WiFi connection was intermittent. Choosing Anna’s cottage will provide you a most comfortable place to stay, a warm and caring hostess and a fabulous location to enjoy the Black Forest. I would return again.

Excellent Accommodation

My wife, two young daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gutach. The accommodation was very clean, with good decor throughout. We were met by Anna, a friendly, cheerful host. The accommodation was situated off the main road and away from the traffic through the village. Gutach was an excellent starting point for us as we wanted to explore the Black Forest and the Clock Strasse. It also had excellent facilities with a Rodelbahn and a living museum. I would recommend this accommodation for either those with a family, keen on outdoors or for a couple who just want peace and quiet.

Schöner Kurzurlaub in Gutach

Die Ferienwohnung ist optimal von der Größe. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und 2 Teenagern unterwegs. Die Wohnung bei Familie Wörhrle ist sehr sauber und man hat alles, was man benötigt. Die An- und Abreise war sehr unkompliziert. Gutach ist ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen im Schwarzwald.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Trotzdem sind Bäcker und Supermarkt sehr nah. Die Nähe zu vielen touristischen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist ein weiteres Plus. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hat sogar eine eigene Terrasse und eine Mikrowelle. Der Kühlschrank könnte etwas größer sein. Die Gastgeber sind supernett. Es war ein toller Kurzurlaub. Wunderbar. :)

Familie Wöhrle sind sehr tolle Vermieter, sie sind für Fragen immer offen. In der Ferienwohnung fehlt es an nichts. Man kann in Gutach und Umgebung sehr viel unternehmen. Dieser Teil des Schwarzwaldes ist auf alle Fälle eine Reise wert.
