We really enjoyed our stay. It's nice and quiet and the lake is gorgeous. The kitchen works great and you're close enough to the town to be able to get supplies or go to a restaurant. I caught four different northern pike over 5 days and I'm pretty happy with that. The kayak works great along with the canoe. We struggled with the pontoon but didn't really need it. It is quite a steep hill from the cabin down to the dock. My mom needed to find a different way down there but we figured it out.
Wonderful first impression. Very clean with fresh carnations throughout the home. Large outdoor deck and a covered patio area as well. The sauna was awesome, sad it was cold enough to use in August! But, you canât control Mother Nature. The beds were comfy and view was nice. Very nice cabin. I would recommend this place. Keep in mind only one bathroom though.
Everything went great with the check-in. The only thing I truly missed about the kitchen was there was no dishwasher. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen essentials that you need.
We absolutely loved this cabin, property, and lake. The cabin was perfect, and had so much to offer! It had everything we needed! The lake is gorgeous, and we caught some amazing fish! This was one of our most relaxing vacations we've had. The cabin is only one hour from Itasca State Park, which was beautiful! If you're looking for a peaceful place to get away, this is it!
We had a wonderful time at the rustic cabin and on the lake. The AC unit wasnât working the evening we arrived and when we reached out it was promptly fixed the next day. The listing was very accurate and we enjoyed our 3-day getaway!
This is an absolute five star place to take your family! We spent six incredible days at this amazing cabin! The fishing was phenomenal. The cabin was incredible so many things to do so many yard games to play.
We truly enjoyed our getaway. The view was amazing, the cabin was perfect for our family, and the fishing was divine. Thanks for sharing your property with us.
My adult granddaughters and I stayed 3 days in October for some grandma time. The cabin is adorable and we spent every evening on deck by fire. Hackensack is a quaint little town with great places to eat and friendly people.
We enjoyed our stay. Weather was good and no mosquitoes here! Ate most of our meals out on the deck. This home is well stocked and well maintained. We brought a boat to fish area lakes. Used the pontoon here and explored Trillium Lake. Would recommend this rental home!
Everything at the log cabin was perfect. It was so quiet and restful. We woke up with a smile each morning to the sound of the loons. The vintage pontoon was perfect for an evening ride around the lake or a little fishing. Kimberly is a great host and responded timely to our questions. The cabin is tastefully decorated. We felt love as soon as we walked in. We definitely will be back⊠â„ïž
Felt like I was in a snow globe with red, yellow, gold and red leaves fallingâŠ.. The place has a little â off the beaten path,â feel with tons of privacy which we liked. So well stocked; with ample linens and kitchen items there was nothing we needed that wasnât there.
The sauna was also great!!!
Will be back soon!
