Great space!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house is cozy and comfortable, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The bunk beds were especially appreciated by our 8 and 10-year-olds. The location was excellent for walking down to the beach to play in the sand and go for walks. And downtown was close too. We would stay here again.

Loved it

I grew up there & wanted to go back for a visit to my old neighborhood. The property is located on the beach rd I used to walk, ride my bike or even bring my horse up the beach rd. The house was like home to me. The house is cute & Immaculate, the manager was responsive & very nice. We enjoyed the stay & want to come back some day. Perfect.

Quick Stay at Half Moon Bay

The property is well situated. Quick walk to a beautiful beach that’s not too populated. Water warm enough to stick your feet in. The town is up the road in the other direction also within walking distance. Somewhat of a sleepy town with lots of food choices. The house fit our family of six very well. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a great treat at night. The house does feel a little more lived in than expected. That took a minute to get used to since there are some closets and food items that I believe belong to the owner. The owner was super friendly and responsive.

This house was a great pick for 4 of us. The backyard/patio is great. There is also a hot tub there. The kitchen has everything you need and more. All of us slept comfortably in this quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location

This house is bigger than it looks in the photos. Lots of space for everyone to hang out. Very short walk to the beach with lots of trails. Very cute main street and town that has everything you need. Incredibly easy host to work with.

Perfect place for a home base!

Came to San Francisco so do some sight seeing and college tours. This was a perfect place to come back to each day, close enough to everything and yet away from all the hustle. Everything from the decor to the house layout made it cozy and welcoming for 2 grandparents, 2 adults, and 2 teenagers. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Cinda!

This is our second stay at this property. Perfect location, perfect size. Easy communication with owner. Place has everything we need. Love the quick walk down to Poplar Beach and walking the path along the ocean.

Christmas in Half Moon Bay

The house is very comfortable and spacious for 3 adults. Great kitchen, fully equipped and lots of the basic cooking ingredients. The owner is very pleasant and responsive. Location is excellent in a quiet neighborhood.

Amazing Beach Get Away

This house is everything as described. The house has everything you need for a great trip. The house is a short walk to the beach and downtown. The decor Has such a cool beach vibe. The kids loved the fire pit. I would definitely stay again.

Relaxing in Half Moon Bay

Cinda’s informative description on the listing was accurate. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, walking the beach and trails, and exploring the shops and restaurants on Main Street (Ciya’s was a fan favorite, as was Taco Tuesday at Cantina). Good communication and nice space.

Very nice

Very cute beach bungalow that was a great fit for our family. Everything in the house is well maintained. Three bedrooms and a pullout couch. One bathroom. The kitchen was updated and well equipped, so we were able to cook real meals. The back yard is very cozy, with a cute firepit and a number of chairs for entertaining in the evening. The hot tub in the back was very clean and well maintained. Not sure the outdoor grill works. No AC, but it was cool enough at night that it was not a problem. Also no washer/dryer if that is an issue. It is a scenic 10 minute walk to the beach, and there is an outdoor shower at the property. Poplar Street has beach access so the road is fairly busy sometimes, but it's still easily walkable. The beach is really scenic below some bluffs that were growing all sorts of wildflowers. The area at the top of the bluffs is a protected wetland with nice hiking and biking trails. The beach was laid back with lots of families, kids and young adults. We saw some tents and firepits. The owner is responsive and friendly and lent us their beach cart. The owner may park in the driveway and stay in the small apartment in the back, but that was not an issue for us.

Great place and very close to Poplar beach in HMB

This is a great spot for a family. .5 mile to Poplar beach and about a two min drive to downtown HMB. Highly recommended. Clean house which is very tastefully decorated. Cinda is a great host!

An absolute gem!

We had a great stay at Cinda's cottage. It's unassuming from the outside but once you're inside, you'll see why I call this a gem of a property. Everything has been updated and is tastefully appointed. It has everything you could need and it easily accommodated 4 adults. It's a short walk to a great beach and all the restaurants and shops downtown are close by. Communication with Cinda was great! We definitely plan to stay here again in the future!
