First ice machine bathrooms Etc either did not work or were locked because they did not want people in them is what we were told. Breakfast was horrible. When asking the staff about issues with ice maker and bathrooms I was told that because of rude guest and people this is how things are. Incredible that that is the response you get would not recommend staying. As a matter of fact we were going to stay an extra night until all this happened.
This property is right next to the highway. Itâs a very clean, safe place to stay when you grow weary of the long roads between Alabama and Mississippi. I visited 10 years ago. Even though the area has had beautiful and proper growth, this place is still my choice for a safe haven from road weary traveling. Worth every dollar spent.
Upon arrival (without a reservation) we were told there was vacancy. The walk in rate was considerably higher than booking through Expedia. The agent wouldnât match the rate and said we had to book through them. I did so right there at the desk. I used the only card I have and got an immediate confirmation. After about 15 minutes, the unfriendly agent said she couldnât check us in because the card she had on file didnât match what I used to pay. ITS MY ONLY CARD. I showed her my receipt showing the last four digits of my card as well as my physical card that matched. She said there was nothing she could do. No manager on property. She called the manager at home and we were told to wait and they would try to be there to help us in about 30-minutes. Once the manager arrived, she was able to do something in the computer and we were good to check in. No apology. No explanation. The room was smelly and muggy. At this point, we just needed sleep. Very poor customer service
The lamps were blinking and the entry light went out right away inside our room. And i wasn't a fan of the coffee maker being in the bathroom. But otherwise it was a clean hotel with friendly staff and they stayed on top of meeting any needs.
The hotel charge me more than what it said it would and when I spoke to the front desk, they can barely speak English and they told me my bank charged me twice and my bank said that was ridiculous. So now Iâm fighting to get my money back.
Wouldn't let me use my reservation claiming my card was declining but went 3 miles down the road to another motel and the same card worked like a charm.

Rude front desk
I was given a card for room 220 two separate times when my room was 219 and on the third attempt I asked the representative what card he was given me for what room and he admitted he was given me the wrong key to the wrong room so he fixed it. My female teenager was waiting in front of the hotel room door with our luggage while i was running back n forth trying to get the right key. Also he told me it was easier to get to my room from back of them building so i parked back there with my luggage and found out there was no way to open the door. So we had to drag our luggage around the front of the building to go in the front. Told me there wasnt going to be a hold on my credit card but there was a $75 hold placed. When i went to check out i complained to the front desk about it and he was very rude, accused me of lying and said they got cameras with audio. I said thats great they will be able to see and hear how i was treated. I will never stay there again.
