Gut: Sauberkeit
We were looking for a house large enough for 6 adults to spend Thanksgiving with our son who is stationed in Norfolk. The house was very easy to find. Check in instructions were very clear. There was plenty of space to spread out! Dining table was large and could also fit us easily. It was too cold to fully enjoy the backyard but it looked nice and we could see the horses on adjacent property across the river. Too cold to fish and salt water( we only had fresh water poles)Make sure to bring spices you need to cook with- We had to go to the store for things as small as salt and pepper as there was none. We did bring our own pots and pans as we were prepping Thanksgiving - but there are small pots and cooking sheets available. Plenty of plates and silverware which was great. We noticed when washing a few dishes the sink was fine, but as we were washing all the dishes by hand after Thanksgiving the sink would fill with water. When we tried to use garbage disposal thinking that would clear it it would not work at all. (We put food scraps in the garbage- not in disposal) I did make owner aware and he assured it all worked properly before we arrived. I wish we tried all of that upon arrival had we known. We were woken up by what sounded like a puppy or small dog in distress at the neighbors, but know they have a large dog in a cage in the backyard day and night that does bark as you come and go. Overall this property was great and very enjoyable by everyone in our group!
