Absolutely perfect!! So private and has everything a solo traveller needs. Close to town too. A perfect place to relax in after a day of hot pools and forest walks. Perfect solitude in a beautiful setting!!
Cute, warm and well appointed cabin.Great shower with awesome water pressure and the huge bath fit 2 adults very comfortably Perfect for a quick couples getaway Oh and the meals at Tease were absolutely delicious
I found the cabin nice and cozy, has everything you need for platters and good heating. The host was very lovely and helpful during our stay with quick replies making sure we are comfortable.
Realistically, this is too small for a comfortable stay! It is very well stocked with kitchen utensils in a chest of drawers, but there is no room to prepare anything so what is the point. No milk which is normally a given in NZ.No Wifi when I was told there was, so all we could do was sit on the bed, chat and look out the window. Thankfully we are a close couple but this might be difficult for other types of pairing. We had travelled to Hanmer for a family birthday, so were out for some of Saturday night. I would have been extremely disappointed had I booked for a romantic get away in comfort.Unfortunately I missed the detail of 'no linen provided' and there is no retail outlet in Hanmer that sells linen as we soon found out. However we were able to improvise. I have stayed in many "çabins'' over the years but this is taking tiny to a whole new level. Redeeming feature - the outdoor bath which we both enjoyed on a crisp Autumn night. Also the fact that the weather was warmer than expected, otherwise we would have been cold inside. The heatpump too noisy to be able to sleep comfortably with it on.Would not stay here again.
Super cosy and cute little place. The outdoor tub was a nice addition, and there was excellent birdwatching! The wifi was a little slow, but that would be our only fault, it really was a l9vely place to stay and very easy to come and go from. Highly recommend
Sometimes you just need to sit in the rain in an outdoor bath, and that's exactly what we did. Nice wee space, thoughtful privacy screens and placement. It gets extraterrestrial on the second bath of the night.
Cute wee cabin at the foot of Conical Hill. Good access to walking tracks and an easy stroll or short drive to the village. A bit of a tight squeeze (as advertised) but the cabin surrounds were lovely and we spent some time star gazing after sunset. Also dog friendly which was a winner for us!
Delightful stay at the cosy cabin.Situated close to town yet the cabin has a lovely bush setting. The outdoor tub was definitely a highlight after the days ride.
This place was clean, tidy, and modern. It was ideal for a short stay in Hanmer. Only qualm was that sheets and pillowcases were not provided, though this is mentioned in the detailed pdf the host makes available. Would recommend :)
Lovely small cozy place just few minutes from town centre. Loved the outdoor bathtub. In between the nature. Pet friendly:) we had a very good time . Would visit again next year .
I booked this place because it was dog friendly, however, the boundary to the neighbouring property was only about 1-2 metres from the cabin and without any fencing it was too tempting for my dogs to run onto the neighbouring property - and then I was threatened with having the council called on me. So it was not as relaxing for me as it should have been. I had to spend 90 to create a dog run so they could still be outside but couldn't go far. Shame, because the grounds were so lovely. I'm one of those people who takes their dog on holiday and putting them on a lead at home isn't really the vibe I was after. I wouldn't stay again for this reason, but I realise I'm the weird one! The cabin was delightful, the bath outside was incredible. But the neighbours... nah.
