This hotel was very good value for money - the room was big enough and very clean; there were enough choices for breakfast, including full english breakfast. The biggest value of this hotel are staff. They are extremely helpful, very motivated and speak excellent english. We were treated as special guests! The staff arranged various excursions, train tickets, and even took us to the train station. We would stay in this hotel the next time we visit Hanoi.

Nous avons été très bien pris en charge par tout le personnel. L'hôtel a organisé un transport pour nous récupérer à l'aéroport et nous amener à l'hôtel, puis nous ramener à l'aéroport pour notre vol. Nous remercions particulièrement Jennie pour son excellent service. Elle est énergique et sympathique, capable et ingénieuse. Elle a réservé nos excursions à la baie d'Halong et à Sapa et a inclus tous les transports et les personnes pour nous ramener à l'hôtel. Elle a également gardé nos bagages pendant notre absence. Nous avons perdu une carte de crédit dans un distributeur automatique juste avant de partir pour Halong et elle a organisé son retour pendant que nous étions à la baie d'Halong - incroyable. Lorsque mon mari est tombé et s'est coupé gravement, elle a arrangé pour qu'un employé de l'hôtel nous emmène à une pharmacie pour trouver les médicaments et les pansements appropriés. Merci. Nous avons passé une demi-journée à l'hôtel (pour la moitié du prix) pour nous reposer et prendre une douche avant notre vol de l'après-midi.

We really loved this hotel. Lovely location right in the heart of the old quarter. We spent two nights here during a 3 week trip to China and Vietnam. Our room (front of hotel with street view) was spacious, clean and well equipped. The air con (much needed) worked efficiently. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, booking transfers for us and offering much appreciated advice.

Location -staff- is the best ever - arrived ver early am & gave us free early check in - with airline lost luggage?? They helped in every way- toothbrush- comb & all bathroom needs provided - when luggage arrived 2 days later @ midnight they delivered immediately to us - only issue was no elevator first 3 short flights of stairs as I’m mobility compromised.but managed anyway

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in! Staff are extremely helpful especially Jennie one if the receptionists! When we arrived at the hotel Jennie greeted us and invited us to the hotel breakfast room and we were given free tea and coffee, she gave us lots of information on things to do around Hanoi and booked our trips to halong bay and sapa. Our room was very spacious and very clean! Location is excellent and there is a great choice of food for breakfast! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

I loved this hotel.The service was great from the get go.We had special attention as soon as we arrived and were given a 1:1 chat of where tourist attractions are. We had a few issues in our room which were fixed immediately which was fantastic and made our stay perfect :) nothing was a problem. The tour booking guy was absolutely awesome as well.Very helpful and efficient. I will definitely return.

My wife and I found this hotel by accident and we were so pleased with our stay, so we thought had to share it with all. The staff have been fantastic always smiling and happy to accommodate. We found the meals to be excellent and very good value. We also were helped in booking tours and the hotel had wonderful discounts with trips to Halong Bay with Venus cruises. On our return were given an upgrade on our previous room which was even better. Will recommend to as many who wish to visit Hanoi. They are situated in the old quarter of Hanoi.

We used this hotel as our pit-stop on our Vietnam trip and stayed here 3 times, twice for just overnight and once for 3 days. I am really impressed with the service at this place. This hotel is in the old quarter which is the area I prefer. It’s a short walk from lake Hoan Kiem. The rooms were large and squeaky clean. The bathroom fittings looked new and the size was also good. The beds were very comfortable and the bed-linen was very clean. The room comes with all modern facilities like great ACs, flat screen TVs, wifi etc. We had the breakfast here each time we stayed, and each time the spread was superb. The staff is really friendly and helped us with all the bookings for our Vietnam trip. I would definitely recommend this place for it’s world class service and really convenient location.

Top rate for its sort if hotel. Big room, wonderful, attentive and caring staff. Everything we needed. Handy locality in the bustle of the Old Quarter but only minutes' walk from Hoan Kiem. If you are looking for five star, look elsewhere,but if you want clean, comfortable quarters where staff are top rate, the breakfasts great and the locality fascinating, look no further. Airport transfer available at less than taxi rates. Should we ever go back to Hanoi, that's where we will book again.

This is a lovely, clean, well run and great value hotel in a great location in the old quarter. Staff were very helpful, the room was spacious, breakfast was great. The hotel was able to keep our luggage safely while we went out to Halong Bay. Jennie was very helpful with her email correspondence, booking tours and promptly replying to our questions. We have had so much support on this trip, starting from a drive from Halong Bay to Royal Palace Hotel and back again. The communication was fantastic. We were warmly greeted by Sullie with tea and cookies. We were informed of all the tour places that were close. When we got into our rooms they were beautiful, clean and cool.

The location was perfect. It’s walkable to all the major locations. I did a city tour, and I realized I didn’t need to book it since every place was walking distance to the hotel. The staff is super warm and friendly. They were helpful from beginning to the end of our stay. They were able to provide pick up from the airport, which I was grateful for. The hotel will also help with tours and provide a discount. There’s also a discount at the spa down the street. It’s an older building, and the buildings are close together. Our view through the window was of another building. It was giving New York vibes. The WiFi was free but did not reach our room. We did not mind so much since we had our own WiFi. This is just something we noticed. In reality you’ll be spending more time outside than at the hotel.

Very friendly and clean!

Our stay was very last min, we booked our room while in the taxi from Hanoi airport. Our first time to Hanoi and apart of this trip was to experience Hanoi and Ha Long bay. The rooms were very nicely done up, you can tell its an old building itself but the renovations were nice. Staff were very friendly, speaks English well and helpful. The hotel also helped us booked our Ha long bay tour, i think if your traveling to Hanoi , this hotel certainly meets its expectations.
