Plan well in advance for our peak Summer and Winter seasons. We book up quickly. Can't beat our location if you're skiing at Nubs Nob. You can walk from our front door to the ski hill within minutes!

Summer: Great getaway spot. Local hiking/biking trails. Beaches within minutes drive. Great Harbor Springs and Petoskey local shopping! Quiet wooded neighborhood. Perfect to have morning coffee on the front deck and listen to the birds chirping.

Winter: Ski Hill Location! Walk to the Nubs Nob Ski Hill (3 minute walk). Close to Boyne Highlands too (3 minute drive).

Great Value......can't beat our location. Harbor Springs 7 miles away. Petoskey 10 miles away. Both Skybridge of Michigan at Boyne and Mackinac Island ferry within a 40 minute drive :)

Chalet has 3 beds:
2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed in each) and a loft that looks over the main floor living area (1 Queen).

Central air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, roomy outdoor deck. All linens and towels provided.

Perfect weekend or weekly getaway location. Close to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey (known for great downtown shopping). Several local beaches (summer) within minutes drive. Bring books/magazines to read. Move in and feel at home for your stay. Super for a romantic getaway or a family ski/summer vacation. Pelston Regional Airport is approximately 20 minute drive/Traverse City Airport about 90 minute drive.

Comfortable beds, easy to communicate with the owner. Really convenient to walk to Nubs -about a 2 minute walk to the parking lot.Property is dated, a little musty smell to the cabin. Kitchen could be stocked a bit better- lots of plates and such but could use more cooking things for cooking in the oven.Stairs are a little steep if you have mobility issues.Fire place does not give off any heat, it is just for looks.If you dont mind an older, dated look it was a great place to stay for the location.Ideal for 3 couples.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved the A Frame. We drove to Nubs/Highlands, but we could have also easily walked to Nubs. Perfect location to ski both. Kitchen was well stocked, couch was comfortable, cabin was very clean. Furniture was classy and nice. The 3 queen beds (1 one 1st floor, 2 upstairs (one of which was in the loft) were perfect for our family. Only funny item was the fireplace, which is just lights, but it gave us a giggle. We'd love to return if our vacation plans align. Thank you again!

We had a great time at the chalet. Its close proximity to skiing was just what we were looking for. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable, the shower water was nice and hot and there were plenty of towels! The kitchen had all the cooking necessities needed with plenty of dishes etc. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Gary for sharing your home !

This is the perfect house for a family to stay at in the winter when they go skiing. You can walk right up to Nubs Knob and it is just a couple miles from Boyne Highland. We may be coming back for skiing season.

Weekend Trip

Our family loved our stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable; we all slept so well. The furniture was perfect for relaxing, and we really appreciated that there was plenty of space for all four of us to gather together on the couch. The kitchen was efficient and well-stocked, with lots of fridge space and all the essentials we needed. Having laundry on-site was a huge plus, and the shower had great water pressure and stayed hot, which is always appreciated. One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the porch in the morning. The location was ideal; just a short drive to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey. We would definitely stay here again!
