The Goodwin is a masterpiece if you wanna have a really nice time great vibe great staff with a charm like if you’re home go to the Goodwin the area around it is a little sus, but it’s downtown Hartford. What do you expect as far as the Goodwin, it’s an amazing place to stay!

Avery pleasant and relaxing stay.

Not as much of a classic old hotel vibe as i expected. More of a modern classic vibe. Nothing t complain about except the $3,00 charge for what should be complenentary bottled water in the room. Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Garage elevator to building lobby attached to hotel redeption. Very friendly and attentive staff. A block away from Black Eyed Sally's soul food restaurant. Don't miss
