Bienvenue Ă  Carson's Rocky Broad River Cabin - la plus longue propriĂ©tĂ© de location familiale Ă  Bat Cave. Un pas sur notre vĂ©randa arriĂšre et vous serez "accrochĂ©" !!! RĂ©novĂ© en 2010, le porche offre plus de 300 pieds carrĂ©s d'espace filtrĂ©, ce qui est une grande extension de la surface habitable de la cabine. Ici, vous pouvez vous reposer, vous dĂ©tendre, lire ou mĂȘme faire une sieste tout en Ă©coutant la riviĂšre dans un confort "sans bug". Mieux encore, commencez votre matinĂ©e par un petit dĂ©jeuner sur le porche; le dĂ©jeuner et le dĂźner fonctionnent Ă©galement. Il y a des siĂšges pour 6 Ă  la table, mais avec tout cet espace, plus peut ĂȘtre inclus.

AchetĂ©e Ă  l'origine par mon grand-pĂšre en 1947, nous sommes propriĂ©taires de la maison depuis 1987 et maintenant elle sera transmise Ă  notre petit-fils, Carson Kincaid. Depuis le dĂ©but de cette annonce, Carson a maintenant une sƓur, Gabby, donc elle va profiter de la riviĂšre et de la cabane trĂšs bientĂŽt.

Nous avons entiÚrement rénové l'étage (en bas pas encore disponible) et avons mis à jour tous les services publics et les espaces de vie. Pratiquement tout est nouveau - comptoirs en granit, armoires, salle de bain, cùblage et plomberie.

Best Spot in Bat Cave

We've stayed all over the Bat Cave/Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area for years. This may have been the best place we've stayed (for a small group). Right on the river, beautiful trees, great location, and FANTASTIC back porch! House is 100% updated, comfy beds, great kitchen etc... Nothing to knock here! Great place!

Really nice, quaint house with a warm gas fireplace. Wonderful sound from river in the back with fire pit. Only complaint is too soft a mattress in bedroom next to kitchen and cable tv in living room a problem intermittently. Hosts were quite helpful though

Wonderful leaf peeping!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. My friend nick named it Cozy Toes Cabin. It was just the perfect place to stay and see the beauty of the fall leaves. The porch is fabulous with a lovely flowing river behind the house. It was wonderful to hear the river as we had our morning coffee. Woould definitely stay again!

Terrific View!

This cabin was perfect for a getaway. It's a few minutes from hiking and food at Chimney Rock, and about 30 minutes from Asheville and Hendersonville. The back patio is wonderful with the Broad River running behind the property. Both bedrooms have glass doors looking out towards the river. And the remote-controlled fireplace was perfect at the end of the day. Thanks!!

My husband and I had a lovely time staying in this older cabin. This is a house on the banks of the Rocky Broad River; the upstairs of the house has been renovated for rental. The vibe here is "laid back nice" with a roomy kitchen that's well equipped. We spent most of our time in the recliners on the large porch at the back, reading and listening to the river. The cathedral ceiling on the porch and fans helped us be comfortable for all but the hottest parts of the days during this summer visit during a heat wave with high humidity (heat index 104 degrees). We appreciated the varnished wood floors and variety of lighting. The custom cabinetry which makes maximal use of space in the bathroom & closet added to its appeal. Everything was very clean. Parking space for 2 cars max is in front of the cabin, just off the road. The hosts are very helpful and responsive; they provided an accurate idea of what we we're going to find. The cabin is small but well laid-out; my 5-star rating is applicable to this size cabin, not on a scale with huge new elaborate rentals. We like to live simply, so it was perfect for us.

The Sound of a Mountain Stream

This is a wonderful place to stay! If you like to sit on a screened porch and listen to the beautiful sound of the mountain stream, then look no further! The hosts called to check and make sure we found everything as we should have! The house was immaculate and we had everything we needed. Awesome place to Relax and Enjoy

We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations are fantastic, the beds are comfortable, and the view (and sound of) the river flowing in the back is incredibly relaxing. The stay was great. It felt like home. Anything you need is available. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. It exceeded our expectations.

Another wonderful trip to Bat Cave

Property was clean upon arrival and was exactly what we expected. Screened in porch was a nice treat and the sound of the River from the porch is very relaxing. Vacation experience

Wonderful getaway!

My family and I had the most pleasant stay at this cabin in Bat Cave. It was our first time to this area, and we went on lots of hikes and loved being in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in the living room as well as the screened-in porch with the view of the river. We made a fire in the firepit by the river and roasted marshmallows, which was a big hit with our child. Randy was very responsive and caring and answered any questions we had promptly. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you, Randy and family!

Fantastic Stay

Cozy cabin by the river has it all! Great style, amenities, comfortable beds, gas log fireplace, and plenty to do close by. Loved drinking coffee on the screened porch with the leaves glowing overhead and the river rushing below. A truly restful and soul-restoring stay.

Beautiful location on the Broad River

The house was great and beautifully decorated. We loved being right on the river and right up the road from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We enjoyed the huge screened in back deck and fire pit by the river. Perfect house for what we were looking for. Randy and Brenda were very helpful!!
