Super convenient high end property, immaculate.. The gentleman at check in was fantastic, a real piece of customer service excellence.. As was the guy in the morning who saw me contemplating how I would manage all my bags up the escalator and ran from behind the counter to help. First class as always..

I had a 6 hour window arriving at 11pm and up at 5 to make a plane. I booked the Sofitel at great expense to do this. I specifically called in advance to make sure I could park in the hotel and was told that would be fine. When I got there the barriers told me it was full. There was a huge queue. It took 29 mins to get in. Once in there was a queue for check in at 11.20pm and then the man told me the wrong place to go to find my room. The hotel is laid out oddly so I needed to ask someone for directions. They directed me wrongly. So did the next member of staff. It took me 25 mins of walking heavy cases before I found my room inside which the WiFi didn’t work. This is a beautiful but very badly run hotel. It’s all management. It’s not focussed on the guest experience commensurate with the room rate. Avoid.

We were graciously checked in by Ignatius. Our room was very well appointed. Little fridge. Bathrobes. Tub and shower. Very luxurious The only downside is that it isn't really "IN" terminal 5. It was a very long walk from terminal 5 arrivals to finally find the front desk. However, I would wholeheartedly recommend it for an overnight at Heathrow, rather than having to take a bus to a nearby hotel.

Beautiful surroundings and easy T5 access

Beautiful reception and room is smart and comfortable. I would prefer a separate shower. I got there at 11:30pm and left at 4:45am so speedy check in and check out may not be demonstrative of busier times. Very easy access to airport and standard pricing for the area.

Great hotel to get to terminal 5. All staff excellent. Room was great, no noise from any planes taking off and a great nights sleep. Feel like it knows it’s there to get people ready to travel whether it be for business or leisure and ticks all the right boxes.
