Expected way higher from brand and cost! Terribly dark room, dated decor and flooring in bathroom, shower door wouldn’t close water leaked everywhere. White towels were yellowish. Inconvenient location for light switches. Coffee bar area had no lighting. Bed had sunken insides and lump in the middle. Air conditioning was freezing when it was on and then room got hot, not consistent or good airflow. Hairdryer cord, not long enough when attached inside drawer. Could not manage to get on Wi-Fi Best thing about our stay was the amazing breakfast Probably the only good thing I can say

Sofitel hotel review

The hotel has big rooms with comfortable beds, the perfect place to take a rest.The breakfast was good, with a lot of choices. The entrance to to pool it’s not included, and they don’t have adapters in the room, so you will have to buy it in the shop near the reception overpriced. All in all the hotel is little bit over priced for what you get.

Very convenient and comfortable hotel for an overnight stay at Heathrow, a short walk from Terminal 5. Only downside is that the lights in the bedroom didn’t seem to work from the control panels bedside the bed which meant using the one by the entrance to the room to turn lights on and off when in bed.

Th hotel is perfect if you are flying with BA as it's connected to terminal 5. They also have some great deals for upgraded rooms and dinner with wine in the restaurant that you choose.

The Sofitel is attached to Terminal 5 thru a series of walkways and this makes it easy. You do not have to go outside in bad weather to access it from the airport. The hotel staff, restaurants, gift shop, room, toiletries, sheets all top notch. I just really enjoy the experience of friendly people ensuring your stay is superior. This is the place.

Check in was SLOW. We also have a room request that is normally honoured (staying here regularly). This wasn’t the case this time, and is never guaranteed…we get that. What is unacceptable is that reception claim there’s no map/layour of rooms + they had zero knowledge of each floor’s layout. We knew more about the hotel than they did.
