Love the condo. We stayed here last year.Two things, master bedroom mattress should be replaced. It sinks in the middle and springs on one side edge seem to have a problem.The other is possibly a personal preference but the living room sofa is extremely uncomfortable.It looks nice it even with the multitude of pillows you just can’t find a spot that is comfortable.We are both regular sized adults.Kids would be fine after tossing most of the pillows. I don’t like to make negative comments and won’t do so online. I just thought you may want the input.Those two negatives will have me looking for a different condo for next year.

Summer Vacation

Although this wasn’t our first time in Hilton Head, it was our first time staying in a home through VRBO. I am happy to share that the residence looked exactly as it appeared online. My family and I were very pleased with everything. It was spacious, clean, and had everything a home needed and then some. My only concern was that the Wi-Fi was a little choppy and I constantly found strands of hair (not mine or my family’s) around the home. Other than that, it was a pleasure and we’d stay here again.

Beautiful place on the beach

The property is on the 4th floor, elevator in the building, very convenient, right on the beach with all the amenities of Tennis and pickball courts. You could rent a bike right on the property. Nice kitchen with all the kitchenware to make brunch or whatever your heart desires. Also, 5-10 min. drive to nice restaurants and shopping. A few things needed attention at the place that's why I gave it a 4 star. Overall very nice! Thank you-

Delightful!

This condo is just right! The view is perfect for morning sunrise! The unit is tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped! There are lots of interesting books & games! I highly recommend this space! However, we could never get either tv to work. (Someone left several pages of handwritten notes on how to do it!). But that is ok, it was good to have a tv break. We had a problem with check-in ( nothing to do with condo or owner). Noone was at the check in office (yes we arrived when they were supposed to be open), so we did not know where to go, and there was no packet in the box outside with our name on it. There are several units on this property, so we had to find someone from maintenance to help us. This was a VRBO fail. ...so we had to find a maintence worker who happened to be on property , to hlpe us.

Safety Hazards

This property could've been a standout if the property manager/owner just took the time to make the space safe. Upon arriving at the rental property, you will first notice it's a bit more run down then the pictures show. Additionally, in the smaller of the 2 bedrooms, the air vent was COVERED in black mold. There was also black mold in the air vent in the family room. Furthermore, in the smaller bathroom, the bathtub has a substantial amount of water trapped beneath the lining, meaning that if your head is tilted back and your eyes are closed while showering and washing your hair, you cannot find stable footing and feel a bit like you're showering in a fun house or walking on a water bed - huge risk for falls. Lastly, the entire place had so much sand on the floors that walking around barefoot was a bit uncomfortable. I contacted the property manager about these issues and while they sent out someone to clean the moldy vent in the smaller room, they stated they had already had someone inspect the tub and deem it “safe.” The issue is, whoever inspected the tub didn't shower in it as again, closing your eyes and trying to shower is much different than having the curtain open and studying exactly where you're stepping. Additionally, they stated they can’t fix the tub because the property “just keeps booking up!” Newsflash – block off a few days and fix the issue before continuing to rent an unsafe space to people. With this rental, greed is outweighing safety. Because we lost a night of sleep in the moldy bedroom and could not use 1 of the showers for fear of falling, we asked for 1 night to be refunded but were ignored. I requested multiple callbacks and left multiple messages to no avail. We were given back a tiny percentage of what we paid which does not even come close to making up for an entire lost night of sleep and sharing 1 shower for an entire family when the property advertised 2 showers. Additionally, given COVID concerns, we didn’t want to have any outside contact yet had to have someone come into our bedroom to clean the mold – at that point, we should’ve just stayed in a hotel. I am giving this property 2 stars instead of 1 star solely for the ocean view, which is the only accurate part of the listing’s description. I would not recommend this property or any Vacasa property to anyone ever.

Good condo and great location

We enjoyed our stay. Pictures look better than reality but overall is a good condo on the ocean front. It has everything you need for the beach: chairs, umbrella, toys, beach cart, etc.

Would have been 5 stars if it had been cleaned

This condo would have been Perfect if it had been clean. We knew, almost immediately, it had been cleaned in a way that we call “company is on the way, hurry!” kind of clean. And that’s being generous. I am not a picky person when it comes to cleaning house. If I think it is dirty believe me it is dirty. I’m talking black gunk and “debris” (aka hair) in between the shower doors in the MB, food wrappers under two of the beds, dirt behind doors, and sheets that my sixteen year old son wouldn’t sleep on because he wasn’t quite sure they had been washed. Not dirty, but questionable. I bought some cleaner and hit the highlights, washed the sheets and called it done. I didn’t bother notifying the manager/owner because we would have had disgruntled house keeping coming in. Actually, housekeeping seems to have no care for the people who will be staying in the condo, and no pride in their work. I do hate to sound so negative but it is only fair that renters have honest reviews. The truth is that the condo is not being cleaned well. The black grout around the tiles in the shower, the nastiness and hair in the area between the shower doors, the slimy feel where the soap and shampoo rests, the black crud around the kitchen sink, the dust, and the wrappers under the beds tell the truth. It needs to be cleaned. I mean a deep down cleaning. BUT on the up side the VIEW is amazing! Nothing but beach and ocean! We loved our stay. The kitchen was fantastic! Every gadget and small appliance you could possibly need and those you didn’t know existed. The kitchen appliances are new, and the washer/dryer are good sized. The condo is beautifully updated and decorated. The colors were very soothing. I wish I knew the paint color they used throughout the condo, I would use it in our house. We didn’t use any of the board games they had available but it was a nice extra for guests. The condo is great. The view and location are great. Then you get to the neglect. It is neglect by the owner and housekeeping. I find it hard to believe the owner hasn’t received complaints? Seriously, just keep the condo clean. Either way it is a shame that such a nice condo will probably get a 3 stars instead of 5 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Club #2402. The condo was completely renovated and everything was nearly brand new. The view was absolutely amazing from living room and master bedroom. Great location. Would absolutely stay again !
