This is the first time we’ve stayed in a Japanese Love Hotel. It was the biggest room we’ve stayed in while travelling in Japan! The check in is very discreet, with a screen between you and the clerk. The lobby is filled with items you can take to your room: the basics like toothbrushes and combs, but also bath salts, lotions and all sorts of delights! There is free red and white wine, and free desserts. You can rent various role playing costumes (all for women- did not see any for men, hahahaha). The room itself was very comfortable and had a huge tub that could easily fit two people. They had all kinds of hair styling tools, and also, next to the bed, condoms and an item that resembled a hitachi magic wand. Whether you take advantage of all of these amenities is totally up to you, but it was a clean, comfortable, affordable and convenient place to spend the night in Hiroshima.
