I stayed here for 10 nights with my family, we were visiting from the United States, but we are Vietnamese. We loved our stay, it was a great home base, we spent time in District 1 and 3 and they provided a daily shuttle during the day to get to Ben thanh market and other popular destinations to save us from walking in the heat. Although the walk was only 10-20 minutes with lots of shops and cafes along the way. I stayed in a 2 bedroom, we were thankful for the air conditioning, laundry and full-sized refrigerator, gym and the cleaning staff. We did watch a lot of animal planet too when waiting for the weather to cool down. The staff speak English which was useful, they checked in on us often. They also have a restaurant in the hotel that's pretty good too if you don't want to go out in the heat.

We had a lovely stay at Sherwood Suites and would definitely recommend it. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, including in-room dining, which we used one evening. Both the food and drinks were great. The facilities were excellent. We used the gym, steam room, and pool, all of which were clean and well maintained. I especially liked the canopy over the pool, which provided welcome shade from the sun. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great with plenty of buffet options as well as a menu you could order from, which was a nice touch. If I return to Ho Chi Minh City, I would happily stay here again as it is a reliable choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A great relaxing stay!

Excellent stay. Staff helpful and professional. Let me checked in three hours earlier at no extra charge. Not much difference in price between the rooms so may book in a bigger room, if I stay longer than one night. I had a very good night sleep and peacefully quiet room, despite being in one of the noisiest places on earth. I stayed to catch an early flight in the morning. I am converted. You get your money worth. If you want to feel home from home and cook it is a perfect place. I did not have to use kitchen but it looked well equipped with everything ones need in a kitchen.

There was a smell in the room. Rather than acknowledging and providing another room, they tried to use air freshener to mask the smell. After complaining again they finally offered to change the room but we were already on day 2 of our 4 day trip and it was very inconvenient. They offered a free taxi to the airport on check out. We are a family of four, they booked a 3 seater car and could not understand the issue when we asked them to change the vehicle for a 4 seater. They didn't change the car. Our experience with the hotel was on contrast to last year where the stay was 10/10. This year I am afraid I would give the place 5/10. We paid 40% more for the room this year. Booking last minute seems to get you a much better rate. There is a lot of competition for good hotels in HCMC so even though sometimes the rate looks good you can get better hotels at the same rate

The room is very well equipped, roomy, comfortable, clean and modern. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Some of the food are not as delicious as it looks in their presentation. The AC smells a bit musty. I guess that’s a common problem encountered in a temperate places. The best feature they have is the washer and dryer.

This is a very high quality hotel. They're attentive to every detail to make your experience great. Our family suite was amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It's a huge suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry. My only complaint as a tourist is that the prices at their cafe are closer to U.S. prices than Vietnamese prices. For example, a coffee might cost $6 when you can go next door and pay $1. It appears to me that their prices are set up for business travelers who aren't price sensitive since their company is paying for it. But that's not a problem if you dine outside the hotel.

Outstanding place to stay!

What a fantastic place to stay, our apartment was very large, bright and extremely clean and very quiet. It’s in district 3 and walkable to many places they also supply a shuttle to the main attractions. The unit had an office, laundry room in your unit, with two bathrooms for each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking if you choose. It is well appointed! There is a swimming pool, pool table and foosball table area and a really good gym. The staff were very helpful, special thanks to Tan Nguyen for sending mail for us on our last day. Definitely recommend staying here it’s like being in your own private apartment.
