I was going to have a later check-in, Rob called to check on my drive and see how we were and how much longer it was going to be before we were there. He left a local map for us and spent time talking to us to make sure we knew where to go for dinner and had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic! The rooms were cute, very well kept, and very clean. Wonderful place to stay!!
The resort is on nice grounds in a quiet area. However, it is badly in need of a paint job. The walls had weird holes everywhere. The room was very musty and had an odor that opening windows didnât help. No maid service. No restaurant or breakfast. No coffee available until 9 am.
Just as advertised - clean, newly renovated, gorgeous surrounds, excellent host (Rob).
Room was a typical old-school motel room, renovated in a cool, clean way. Immaculate!
For a motel stay, place was very clean and appeared recently updated. Onsite property also clean and kept up. Outdoor sitting area with fire pit. Friendly staff. Would stay there again if needed.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the property. Only suggestion I have is that towels should be dried for longer. It is not useful or appealing to have damp towels. Or yellowed ones. Also should air out rooms so damp feeling alleviated.
The bathroom was not updated around the sink. The room was extremely small, room only for the bed and a dresser. The pool was nice but it was the only amenity.
It says retro motel but it is located at a trashy trailor park. If i hadn't been with another traveler, i wouldn't have stayed. I didnt feel safe, i almost cried just pulling into the parking spot, i didn't want to get out of my car. It is extremely old. No old charm here, just old. Not returning.
It rained almost the whole time we were there but were surprised to find chairs folded under each bed. We were able to meet in one room to play games. Cute motel with comfortable beds. Appreciated that we could book for one night instead of multiple nights during summer season. Definitely visit the Dairy Dayz down the road. We saw several kids with ice cream cones as big as your face. They had all types of ice cream and reasonable prices.
