My family had a fantastic stay at this location. Easy walk to the pool and beach. Short drive or bike ride to South Topsail where there are restaurants, a pier, a skating rink, coffee shop and more. Queens Grant feels very safe and all the renters/owners we met were so kind.
The townhome is very well stocked. My husband didnât stay the whole time and actually took some of the extra stuff we brought home. There are plenty of beach towels, kitchen utensils and cookware (weâve all stayed at that place that considered cookware one pot and one pan), but not here. They had boogie boards, kayaks, and paddle boards to use. They also had baby gates which was helpful for keeping our dog on the patio while enjoying playing games or reading books on it. The place was just as described, quite possibly better. Very clean and well thought out.
Some of the places we visited that we enjoyed the most are Daily Grind (coffee, donuts, pastries), Santorinis (lasagna, calamari, chicken parm), and Surf City Pier (fishing, socialization, BLTs and breakfast burritos).
I do just want to make you aware that the stairs can be a lot especially the outdoor plus the indoor if you are in and out frequently. My mom hurt her knee shortly before the trip and ended up staying in the smaller room on the main floor to avoid having to do so many. Honestly though pretty much anything on Topsail Island has stairs so there is no real avoiding it. Wouldnât keep us from returning.
