Beach access is directly across the street — cross the road and a shaded path leads to the white sand in under a minute. Made in the Shade A is a Holmes Beach vacation rental where guests come back year after year, and where the combination of location, comfort, and easy beach access keeps the calendar consistently booked.

The private patio has a gas grill for evening cookouts and outdoor seating for the mornings before the beach day begins. Beach chairs and an umbrella are provided — grab everything and walk across the street. Shared on-site laundry handles the week's beach clothes.

The bedroom has a king bed. A pullout sleeper sofa in the living room handles two more guests, sleeping four total. One full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. High-speed WiFi and cable TV included.
Publix, Walgreens, and the free Anna Maria Island trolley are two blocks away — one of the most walkable positions in Holmes

Quick walk across the street to the walk path leading to the beach. Did not need the car or find a parking for the beach. Bathroom very clean. Comfortable mattress. Kitchen has all the necessary utensils for cooking plus glasses and plates. Very nice barbecue outside. There are 2 ROKU TVs. Wi-Fi included plus Spectrum.

Lovely property and steps to the beach.

This house was so clean and well decorated. perfect little screened in patio. Had all the beach equipment needed. The beach access was straight across from the driveway, located on a quiet street. the beach was not crowded due to it being away from main beach access and parking for public. also walking distance from Publix and shops. I would recommend renting a golf cart so you can easily visit the island, but not needed. Would definitely rent again. Love Anna Maria Island.

across the street from the beach

This home was very easy to get our stuff in and out of with no trouble. Safe neighborhood, across the street from the beach. great location for all things on the island. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was great for a small one. everything in the kitchen was good. I didn't have to bring anything from my kitchen. No details missed. Thank you for such a nice place will be back again

Made in the Shade Good for 2 people although it would accommodate 4 but you would be in the living/kitchen area. Limited outdoor space but did have chairs on the side. Only steps to the beach but on the southern part of the island so not a lot of restaurants, but if you have a car, no problem. Had an indoor shared washer and dryer which was great, very clean.

Great location, accommodations, and food!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay in this unit. It was clean, newly updated, cozy and close to the beach! Will certainly be back next winter! Could use a little more storage in the master bedroom, but we made due with what we had and loved everything about the place. Walking distance to everything you could need - groceries, restaurants, etc.
