Awesome place, the pictures do not do justice to the place, it was gorgeous. Had everything we needed. Perfect place to relax and ATV trail, right from property. Definitely will stay again.Jeff was awesome, sharing places to eat, and if we needed anything.

The property was fantastic, and once I contacted the owner, the process was flawless. I would only recommend that the check-in procedure be clearly communicated before arrival at the property.

Great Woodsy Getaway

Loved our stay at this property, it felt that no expense was spared on amenities and décor to make the stay extra cozy. They had pretty much any utensil or appliance you could think of or need in the kitchen, plus some games in the unit as well. Very clean property and nice peaceful location. There are a couple other buildings within view on the property and this unit itself is attached to a garage that seemed to be used for storage, but it still felt private and secluded enough to relax. We would definitely go back!

Another Great Stay!

We stayed there last year and returned again for a weekend away. Very clean and comfortable with all the kitchen tools needed. Tip: if there on the weekend, pre-order ribs from Duquette's General Store. Simply amazing!

Wonderful home away from home

The guest house is something out of a hgtv dream. The heated floors were amazing on a chilly day. The property is quiet and secluded. This is the perfect quiet place to stay when doing nothing or heading to Duluth or other northern activities. I don't really have a reason to come back to MN, but I want to invent one to come back to this little slice of heaven!

Short drive north was worth it. Enjoyed a campfire under at the site. Everything we needed was provided in the rental. Nice to be able to bring our dog.

Amazing trip!

Me and my girlfriend went to this little cabin for our anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! The host Jeff was the nicest person I have ever met and told us all about the place and suggestions for around the area. It was a very homey and happy little place definitely would go again!

Weekend getaway

We wanted a place outside of the city but within an hour grive of the trails we wanted to hike. This place was the perfect location. Very clean, modern, and cozy. Firepit outside allowed us to continue to relax outside into the evening. Perfect. Thanks!!

Cozy, quiet and awesome!

We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and found it at Mirror Lake Resort. It is brand new and amazing! Jeff is a great host. We had one minor maintenance issue, and he was there within minutes. Definitely would stay there again.

100 stars!!

Absolutely amazing. Close to 4 wheeler trails that hook you up for Nemadji State Forest. As my title states, I would give Jeff and Jane 100 stars, but I can Only do 5. The whole property is very well maintained. The guest house, is a dream. Everything is there for you. Full and I mean full kitchen, equipped with everything you need. Bathroom fully stocked, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Towels, rugs etc. Washer and dryer...with detergent. We can't say enough great things about this place. Early September and not 1 mosquito bite. Location is perfect for people who want to get away from the chaos. The only thing you need to bring is your personal needs and more time, as you will not want to leave.

The Guesthouse

This is one of the most comfortable and amazing places to stay! Very serene and totally off the grid...which was exactly what I needed and was looking for! Jeff was very helpful in recommending places to go and places to eat. The guest house has absolutely everything you could possibly need to cook and to relax. It is decorated so nicely and has such a cozy feel to it. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and I could not imagine a nicer place to stay with an amazing owner! Thank you again, Jeff! Stay at Mirror Lake Resort

27 acres of beautiful wooded property. Jeff and Jane are so warm and welcoming - was fun to get to visit with them and learn more about the area. My dog loved the freedom to run and go jump in the lake whenever he wanted to. 30 minutes to Duluth, Jay Cooke or Banning state parks. Planning to go back again this fall.

Gorgeous escape outside the city

This place truly blew me away... it was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. This is newly renovated, so it's modern while still maintaining comfort and coziness! Jeff welcomed me into the property and showed me around- and was always responsive to any questions. It was great meeting him and Jane- they were amazing hosts who have truly thought of every detail. The quality of this place is matched only by the stunning beauty outside. I loved walking down to the lake and enjoying the quiet serenity. Don't even hesitate to book this place- it's a beautiful retreat that's just a quick 30-40 minute drive into Duluth. I hope to make it back some day!

WAY better than expected!!

The Cabin Guest House is such a comfy and beautiful place to stay! We were expecting a new tiny log cabin but we were amazingly surprised at the size, love and details put into the entire property. Jeff was wonderful and gave us great information about local places to go and local history:) He was so helpful and around if we needed anything. He has also thought of everything you could need! The Cabin guest house has everything. We are going to come back with our kids in the fall when the leaves turn. Can't wait to roast marshmallows, take them on the paddleboat and canoes, and maybe bring other family members along and rent out the Lakeview Cabin too! I cannot wait to come back and if anyone gives Jeff and his property anything less than 5 stars- they crazy! This place is perfect.

July 4th get away

Guest house was more than a guest house! Everything is new! It was perfect for a quick get away. It had everything we needed. Jeff was a great host. They are still working on the property & we’re very respectful of our space.
