While staying there for 12 nights in April, a horrible incident happened that totally ruined our experience. On day 7 we found that 3 packs of dried seafood gifted by my sister and stowed in my suitcase were gone. After reporting the loss, a manager and another staff came to search through all our suitcases to no avail. He then reviewed all CCTV recordings and door lock entry data, told us he found no evidence of foul play, and advised us to report to local police. My own gut feeling was that this was most likely an insider job by the hotel staff. I refused to waste more valuable time on an allegation with no supporting evidence, so I decided to suck it up and accept the loss. Then on the last night when repacking our luggage, we magically found the 3 packs of seafood in the outer compartment (a flap that opens out after unzipping) of my suitcase which I never used in the past. We’re glad the lost items were eventually found, however, I was still puzzled by how they disappeared and reappeared. After check-out, I emailed Ibis with full details of the whole incident and asked for a comment. Their reply again did/could not provide a reasonable explanation. So unless the room was haunted and some paranormal event(s) happened during our stay, I knew in my mind what and how they happened. Lesson learnt for me even after traveling globally for half a century, going forward we will definitely lock all our suitcases everyday before we leave the hotel room, not just before a flight.

This place is near to cruise terminal. Taxi there is about Hkd180. Area around Northpoint has all changed. Is not a shopping area anymore. Still can buy things fr Welcome. Hotel is value for money but very cramp. Room is very small.

From the moment I set foot in the Ibis North Point property I gained a very favourable impression of the way in which the hotel is managed. Each and every staff member I encountered was very professional and genuinely friendly. I requested a room high up in the building, and was duly assigned one. The view of the harbour and its shipping traffic was spectacular: a real plus point. The hot water supply and pressure in the shower was excellent, and the room in general of a perfectly adequate size for a 5-night stay. The manager kindly offered me a slightly later check-out time in order to allow me to make the most of my day before heading to the airport. Michelle, at the front desk, was particularly helpful when it came to storing my baggage for a few hours prior to my departure. I have stayed in in a good number of hotels in a similar price bracket in Hong Kong, and this one is outstanding amongst them. Many thanks to the entire team for the excellent and scrupulous service you are providing for travellers.

The location is convenient with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The bus terminus, MTR, and ferry are all one block away. The towels and bedding are clean, the room is cleaned daily. The room is small but adequate.

Definitely not a five-star hotel. This is an average/ basic hotel, But it do the job, clean bed and hot shower. Everything is within walking distance, bus stop, subway, ferry, and tons of restaurants. I got No complaint.

Good location.

Third time staying at this hotel. Great budget option and conveniently located near the North Point ferry. Wonderful surprise to see the Harbour North plaza finished and adding some vibrancy to the area.
