I was initially skeptical of how nice it would be when it was the first accommodation of the highway exit, but the property is quiet, convenient, updated, and very clean! Would recommend to stay if you have a car to get in/out of town as it’s only a short drive but not terribly walkable.

The room was nice and had a private walkout deck. There wasnt anything tonsit on out there though, so that was a drawback. For the amount they charge per night it isnt anything that great. No breakfast, no housekeeping service if you spend more than one night unless you request it and no lotion in the room. The extras were lacking for the price. I wouldnt stay here again unless they drop the price. Lots of other options in town.

We got there around midnight and left at 8:30 am. But the room was clean and though our late check in was inconvenient, we were happy they accommodated us. The surrounding area is ok, but it wasn’t where we were hanging out so it didn’t matter too much

Convenient location. Great staff, rooms are in decent shape. Our room had a huge deck (balcony) that was super private. Only issue we saw was the housekeeping had not cleaned the room properly. There were dead bugs in a couple of spots which looked pretty old.

Pleasantly surprised by this place

This place was a pleasant surprise. Just looking at the outside, and judging the approximate age of the motel, I expected the rooms to be "tired". But much to my surprise, the rooms were nicely updated. The bathroom sparkled with what appear to be recent upgrades. The carpet and furniture were crisp and clean. The room was quiet and comfortable. At the price they are charging, it's a bargain.

This motel was decent for a short stay. It's not in a very picturesque or walkable area of town. The maintenance of the room left something to be desired. For instance, the shower diverter in the bathroom was broken so we were unable to take a shower, one of the towel hooks came off the wall, etc. The walls were thin and noise from outside and other rooms carried easily.

Great option in Hood River. Clean room, comfy bed, would stay here again. Across the street is a DQ, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Safeway Grocery Store, Liquor Store, and Walmart is about 2 blocks away.
