Perfect little paradise. Lots of pillows was a bonus. Livingroom furnature was very comfortable. View was amazing. Parking was great with the entrance and exits. Made it easy for parking 18 foot boat. Full size bed was very comfortable. Patio set was perfect.
Kings size bed wasn't very comfortable and slats fell in on foot of bed. Tiolet ran constanantly so we cut the water off. The remote control to the t.v. didn't work, just needs batteries. Fully equipped with everything except sugar and creamer.
Great little hideaway. We will definitely come stay again.
Bathtub, yes, but permanent glass window afixed means you need to be IN the bathtub to control the faucet. Tough with a 2 year old. Also, there was no trash can in the bathroom! OR TOWEL BAR! For bath or hand towels. Just a triple hook. For a place that sleeps 6.
Internet is VERY weak and unreliable, so better not tell your toddler you're turning on their favorite show until you finally get it on. And you will have to set up the Roku before you even sign into your own streaming account. And then it would stop and start again because of the weak signal. We just gave up on TV.
Wooden stairs going up to unit and the back deck are in rough shape, my husband was concerned about rott -- I was watching out for splinters as my daughter used the stair rail.
And neither doors latch from the inside, so a child can open either WITH EASE and walk out onto a worn out wooden deck with open stairs down or the main entrance stairs down. My husband propped chairs to block them each night. But really, a latch or deadbolt would be helpful.
Planning to cook? Bring your own knife sharpener AND CUTTING BOARD. I laughed trying to cut an onion on a plate and gave up cutting anything. No pot big enough to boil pasta. No baking sheet (except pizza pan).
However! The location is perfect, including the direction of the floor-to- ceiling glass windows facing the lake. You never get direct sun into the cabin, so mornings and evenings are stunningly peaceful gorgeous.
Very cute cabin. Was great to relax in and having access to the dock was great! Just about everything you would need, a few items in the kitchen would be a nice add like a set of tongs and a blender for some daiquiri's, but really it had enough to get some meals done. The only downside was, we found out you cannot run the dishwasher and the micro at the same time, kicks a breaker and the breaker box is outside about 10ft up the wall. Also the internet was severly spotty. Normally no big deal, but we work remotely and pick vacation homes with internet so we can work while vacationing. The owner was very quick to respond about breaker location and check in and out was easy. Would def stay again.
This was the perfect property. We could bring our dogs, had a perfect view of the lake, and a dock to attempt fishing. The beds in this property were comfortable, the bathroom was nice and updated.
No complaints about it. Hopefully we can stay another time when it is a little warmer!
The host Mr. Drigger was very good at responding too!
