The property rental was excellent, although we didnât spend much time at the property due to activities with family that lived nearby, it was wonderful to come home to a peaceful place to rest after our dayâs activities, I would recommend this property and the host (quick response time) for future stays in Hot Springs
Plenty of room and so close to everything! We were able to quickly get downtown and to walking trails. We even got to see a deer lying in the backyard, which was really cool. We even watched her run up the hill back into the woods. The hosts were very helpful & responsive. We really enjoyed their food recommendations! I would definitely recommend & stay here again if Iâm ever in Hot Springs!
Located in a historic, quiet neighborhood thatâs walking distance to downtown. The space was way bigger than the photos made it look which was great. Well appointed and comfy bed. Hosts were great. Will definitely stay here again.
If you're on the fence about staying here, definitely stay! The suite is comfortable, spacious, and clean. We were only two traveling, but our family of four would have easily been able to spread out as well. We enjoyed that the little kitchen had a small fridge and an air fryer for cooking and toasting as well. Extra bonus: walk to the West Mtn trails right from the suite. 12yo daughter says " the room is really cool."
This hot springs vrbo was a great place to explore the city on Easter weekend 2025. Itâs just up the street from bathhouse row where we spent much time. We actually drove to the row and parked on the street for free then did lots of walking from there. We did walk from the house to St John Catholic Church for Easter mass, to nearby restaurants, and to the national park trailhead just a few houses down. Very good location. The house was excellent for just me and my wife, but there is a nice bunk bed in the upstairs loft area and a separate guest bedroom for kids or friends. We ate out the whole time and never used the microwave or air fryer, but beware there is no stovetop if cooking is your thing. Youâd have to use the grill if so. Nice little fridge and options for coffee or tea. Seating space was mostly upstairs with the bean bag being a favorite place to plop down. The covered second story deck looking out over the trees and back yard was lovely this spring weekend, and the backyard Adirondack chairs were nice to take a load off too. We are glad we stayed here and thank the owners for great advice on places to eat and things to do. Robert was excellent at communicating and answering our questions. It was quiet in the historic part of town with none of the noise down on bathhouse row reaching us. Only thing we missed was meeting their neighbor groundhog, Russel, but the birdies were friendly and curious. We recommend this charming getaway for your next trip.
We had a fantastic stay! The location was idealâclose to everything we wanted to see and do (downtown & Oaklawn). The space was spotless and well-maintained, and the view & porch were great âperfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Would definitely book again!
We liked our house very much. Nice, clean, very well taken care of. good communication with the hosts. The balcony can be very enjoyable if weather permits.Highly recommended for a couple or a small group.
Great location and very cute little garage apartment. This was our first time to Hot Springs and we loved it. The location of the house was perfect. The host was amazing about communicating even though they were out of town and was able to take care of issues easily. The only things Iâd say to be prepared for are barely warm enough shower, low light in the bathroom, no couch or really comfy seating other than a beanbag type chair and a couple other chairs that arenât meant for comfort, and the kitchen is rather sparse. Thereâs no freezer in the mini fridge. We really didnât spend much time in the apartment during the day though so it wasnât an issue for us. Still loved our stay.
We loved the property - it was the perfect distance from downtown to be able to walk to restaurants but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful quiet in the evenings. The space was perfect for the two of us and we hope to go back in the near future.
The location was perfect; quiet neighborhood, short walk to downtown, even shorter walk to local restaurants and just a hop to the National Park trails! Everything was clean and well maintained. Hosts are on site, super friendly and very helpful in recommending things to do! Deck overlooks national park and animals (deer, raccoons, armadillo) would play and graze above us. Mattress was SUPER comfortable and bathroom was large and good water pressure. All around perfect!
We were very impressed by the place and location. I read the reviews before booking and they all were so true, and better than expected. We got rained in on Sunday afternoon and in enjoyed drinks and conversation on the wrap around porch and also coffee in the morning. The bathroom is very spacious with a big nice size shower. It was a great home away from home experience. The host was very easy to contact as well as very nice and personable.
Wonderful host, nice apartment and the location is perfect. Only thing to be aware of is the small dog barks in the morning and can wake you up if you are a light sleeper. Also the kitchen does not have a stove. Has microwave and grill at least.
We liked the property, it was clean, comfortable and in a nice neighborhood. We appreciated the dinig recommendation, Best Bar for breakfast. Loved it.
We would have liked a couple of regular drinking glasses. Otherwise nicely appointed.
A heads up about the no wine/beer purchases on Sunday would have nice!
The garage apartment was perfect! It was clean, and had the best wrap around porch to enjoy morning coffee and do a little bird watching from. We loved the location, because even though you are less than a mile from the excitement of downtown, you are still far enough away that you are not dealing with crowds. Itâs in a quaint little neighborhood that backs up to the mountain. The owner was more than hospitable! He was easy to reach, and gave great dining and hiking recommendations. This will be our new âgo toâ stay when we visit Hot Springs!
We enjoyed Everything about this property. It was
Quiet and centrally located. Nice and cool, hot
Temperatures In Texas had us seeking air conditioning most of the time.
Very good
Communications with our Hosts. Will contact them again when we are there.
The host communicated and gave many dining suggestions. We were able to make it to two of those suggestions and they were great. The property makes it easy to enjoy the town of Hot Springs as well as the trails of the state park. My wife and I are very happy with the choice and had a great time!
Great quiet, safe, lovely location in residential area, trees, birdsong, many windows, comfy bed, large bathroom and walk in shower. Helpful and immediately responsive kind owner. We are older and have some mobility issues so the stairs and furniture posed an unexpected problem and we left a day early. We drove downtown but it would have been a nice walk.
This is basically a garage apartment. There is a kitchenette with an air fryer, sink and dorm fridge, a basic coffee pot, and a Nespresso machine.
The bed (we only used one) was comfortable, and the porch was awesome for morning coffee.
You could walk to town, but it is about a mile away. We didn't mind looking at the homes as we walked, but you might want to drive.
We couldn't have been happier with this property! Clean and spacious. We went to hike the sunset trail and access was right down the street. The downtown area / bath houses are a relatively short but pleasant walk. The neighborhood is super cute and seemed safe, even after dark. We would definitely stay here again!
