Schöne Idee, schwache Umsetzung
"Wir verbrachten ein langes Wochenende im Marriott Lampung, um Jakarta zu entkommen - leider wurden unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. Das Hotel richtet sich klar an indonesische Familien mit kleinen Kindern: viele Kinderaktivitäten, hoher Lärmpegel, keine ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Restaurantsituation ist unbefriedigend: Das kleine Strandrestaurant Way Manom bietet nur begrenzte indonesische Küche und ist nur zu den Hauptessenszeiten geöffnet. Mittags bleibt das Hauptrestaurant geschlossen, abends gibt es nur Buffet - wenn man reserviert hat. Ohne Reservierung steht man am Anreisetag schnell ohne Tisch da. Am Ende bestellten wir drei Abende Roomservice - ironischerweise das beste Essen des Aufenthalts, mit großer Auswahl an Gerichten, die es in den Restaurants nicht gibt. Die fehlende digitale Infrastruktur ist unzeitgemäß: Menü nur per QR-Code am Fernseher einsehbar, bestellen ausschließlich telefonisch möglich. Der Strand ist dreckig, der Pool ebenso, mein weißer Bikini war nach 30 Minuten grün. Es gibt zu wenige Liegen, die Auflagen sind schmutzig. Zimmer sind hellhörig und abgewohnt, Bettwäsche mit Löchern, Handtücher ausgefranst - für ein Hotel, das erst ein Jahr geöffnet ist, enttäuschend. Positiv: freundlicher Service, reibungsloser Flughafentransfer, gutes Spa. Fazit: Für den Preis und die beworbene „Ruheoase“ bleibt das Hotel hinter dem Anspruch zurück. Für Familien mit Kindern okay – wer Ruhe, Wellness und gutes Essen sucht, sollte etwas anderes wählen."
