We were told to leave our bags in the pantry while we went next door to eat. When we came back, my son’s backpack was missing. Inside the backpack were 2 pair of his shoes, one new pair of pants, the charger for my mobility scooter, a small thermal bag and my Peak Purple 18oz Yeti Rambler (you can’t get that color anymore). So needless to say this was not a good experience. It cost me $32 to replace the backpack and $61 to replace the charger. Unfortunately I can’t replace the Yeti with the same color unless I pay a lot more.

After I checked out, there was a $79.48 charge on my Visa card. After numerous phone calls to rectify this charge, they agreed to refund said money, but as off Dec. 30, still no action. In my opinion, it was a deliberate dishonest transaction. Never again will I use Best Western at Humble, Texas.

The staff was very nice and helpful but warned us that the elevator is not reliable and it was a risk too use it as we could get stuck. Offered to carry our bags, but we had to carry them down the stairs to avoid getting stuck at 4am on our way to the airport. Room was clean but looking old and the pillows were terrible.
