Over the last five years we have stayed at this hotel about 20 times when visiting Katy. It has been " Under Renovation for about 4 of those years. It has never been a great hotel but it was okay for the money. We stayed here again this last weekend and it was one of the worst hotel stays ever. They charge $100 deposit for incidentals when you arrive. I don't have a problem with that, but this time clerk kept telling me that my card was declined even though my bank ap shows that she never ran the card. Then she kept asking that I pay in cash. I am a Comfort Member and being that I have stayed here so much, I thought maybe they would not make me pay the deposit seeing as how their card machine was not working. The pool, the jacuzzi and the gym are all closed. Because they have those doors locked you have to walk all the way around to get to your car if you have to park in the back. Ice machines do not work, and no part of the lobby is useable.

Great, but water only warm

This place very good. The bed was so comfortable. They are under construction so, the lobby isnt put together yet. It was very quiet all the time. The only downfall was the water in the shower only got warm.

6 week stay in Katy, TX

My 6 week stay was nice, staff was very friendly and helpful, they worked with me which was very nice of them. Would definitely stay again. Only downside is that the hotel was going through renovations and they stopped serving breakfast. No discount on the rooms for lacking that.

I reserved the room from orbitz (expedia). during reservation, they did not notify that there was a renovation going on. Because of that there was not breakfast even though I reserved as breakfast included. I asked to cancel my reservation due to no breakfast. But the staff on the reception said that this should be done before 24 hours earlier. How should I have known that there was renovation and no breakfast before I arrived the hotel and processed my reservation. That was so stupid.

Zero of their listed amenities and perks were available due to construction. No breakfast, no pool, and no gym. When I asked if they were giving discounts or rebates they said they would ask the manager, and never did. I understand remodeling and things like that, but don't make it out to be your customers problem that you can't fulfill your promises.

Our room was very clean, comfortable, and up to date. Staff was very nice and helpful. They are renovating right now so they are working on the lobby, etc. it will be beautiful when completely finished. I would stay here again.
