Incredibly clean home. Great location for all our daily schedules. Very secure feeling home in a very large busy city. My sister brought her rescue 10lb dog and it was perfect yard. We came to the Houston area during very cold days, so it took awhile to figure out how to regulate the house temp wise with the running heat⊠but we figured it out and it all worked well.I cannot express how clean and updated it looked⊠made for great experience.
Our stayed for three days was comfortable. Nice having a garage to store our vehicle. Location had plenty of places to eat around it. The home is located on a some what busy street but you would think it would be loud but this was not the case. The house is pushed back away from the street. This makes it quiet. The host Dale got back to me quickly when I had questions. Over all a good place to enjoy a vacation in Houston.
I usually do not bother to write a review, but we did run into multiple issues with this property. I never got check in or check out instructions. I had to reach out to the host, who did respond promptly, but it appears they didn't do what they were supposed to on their end for me to be able to see instructions. The house was dirty. The floors were dirty. They were sticky and had streaks and footprints visible. Our socks were dark on the bottom from walking around. We used a few dishes and when taking plates out of the cabinet, they were dirty with food spots on them. There were little ants in the middle bath and large bedroom. There were enough ants that although I started to get ready in the middle bathroom, I moved into the smaller bathroom so they would not be crawling on my things. My husband showered and while using a towel that had been folded on the shelf he found several long hairs. We found this on several towels. The neighborhood seemed fine. But it was lacking some privacy. There are multiple large windows without coverings. You have to walk through a gate to get to the front door. During the day a package was delivered to the door and later a random woman walked in the gates to get it. The neighbors had work being done and since it is a 0 lot line, they were essentially in this yard as well. There are also motion sensor lights that went off all night. I believe it was in the neighbor's yard, but it lit up the backyard which was unnerving. Would not stay again.
