I stayed at Hyatt Place Houston-North and unfortunately encountered bed bugs. The room cleanliness was poor. Despite the convenient location, the hotel needs serious improvements in housekeeping.

Recently updated which is overall nice, but they forgot to replace the mattresses. The bed was sunken in the middle, shower was hard to get hot water but excellent water pressure. No food on property other than Continental breakfast and a few purchasable nutragrain bars. Not really worth the price

The entire time 6 days total coffee machine was out of service I always look for hotel with breakfast included and I know it is continental breakfast but this one was the worst ever The same things every day and no coffee at all had to go out for coffee and breakfast every morning no happy

This property was okay it was far away from all main extractions . Every thing we did we had to uber 30 min away and had so many Ubers canceled because of location of hotel. The hotel shuttle driver also canceled on us the night before and the hotel didn’t notify us we sat outside waiting for him for about 20 min before we decided to ask hotel staff and they tell us it was canceled . I would rate this hotel 6/10. The hotel was safe quiet and clean but could do a lot better

The staff for the most part were friendly. One staff member in a lecturing tone told us that she would not give us more than 1 plastic fork after she saw our take out food delivery. The first room we were in had a dirty fitted sheet on one bed, the other bed had what looked like blood stains on the comforter, and the bathtub looked like it wasn't clean. I asked to switch to a different room and they made the accommodation. The second room was cleaner, but during the stay I used a shoe to whack 3 small bugs. For a Hyatt Place stay I was disappointed in the overall cleanliness and bugs in the room. They did mention they just finished renovations and had issues with a towel vendor.

Wash towels was not place in my room prior to check in. Had to go to front desk to request. Same issue no wash clothes left after room was clean 2 days later. Bathroom dirty (dry blood from prior guest on the floor) and door kept getting stuck. Pest problem

Terrible customer service and GALSE ADVERTISING!!

Waited 2 HOURS for the airport shuttle to arrive at the airport to pick me up. The hotel is less than 10 minutes away so I was very upset about that. Talked with Management who didn’t seem to care to much about my issue. I booked this hotel bc the amenities listed online were what I needed. FALSE ADVERTISING! Online and in the hotel they advertised restaurant and bar inside the hotel which DOES NOT EXIST! They also said there is restaurants within walking and there isn’t. I had to pay for DoorDash for food and drink since I was here to celebrate cinco de Mayo! I just pray the shuttle is here to take me to the airport at scheduled time. This has not been a good stay so far
