When we got there after a 7 hour drive we were told our room was over booked. When they finally got us a room without a kitchen we had to pay extra for refrigeration and microwave. The room had not been cleaned. We had no WiFi the whole time we were there. I clearly told the man that checked us in when we were leaving and paid in full and a lot more than what my room I had booked was for. the day before we were to leave I was told I had to check out by 11, I told him we were not leaving till the next morning and I had made that clear when we checked in. I had to pay for another day and a refrigerator and microwave. We go to Texas every 4 months and I would never book a room with Motel 6 again.

I enjoyed my stay, especially in the studio 6 room. The option for an extension was easy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Other than being inches away from the highway it was a great stay. I have no complaints.

They are false advertising, they say they have a kitchenette with a stove and they don’t, you have to get everything from the front office, including the hot plate. Which isn’t so bad but you’re already paying a deposit on the room because it’s a kitchenette, with no stove, but you have to put a $50 deposit for the hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dishes, cooking utensils, etc
