The room was modern, clean, and perfect for two. I highly recommend the hotel if you are visiting Hudson. Unfortunately the Expedia picture and description did not match what was actually booked. This was not the fault of the hotel as their website accurately depicted the booking. Expedia needs to do better....
The bathrooms were small and the arrangement a little inconvenient. The lime-washed walls and iridescent curtains in the room appeared to be stained but that may have been part of the design⊠small pieces the wooden floor were also coming up and tracking around the room.
Expensive, for a very small hotel room. Barely enough room for the bed. Two of us could not pass each other, we had to wait for the other person to go first. Except for luke-warm coffee in the morning, everything costs extra. Regular coffee only, no decaf. We ate at the restaurant. I ordered fish. I got a piece of fish with a few circles of roasted onion. Some vegetables and/or some grains would have been nice. All in all, a little disappionting.
The room was not as advertised. The room did not have a king bed, it had maybe a full. We utilized the pull out sofa- which was bigger than the advertised King in the loft. The room was also covered in construction dust- probably spread by the HVAC- but usually this is cleaned before allowing occupants. There was a mild mildewy odor in the room as well. Bathroom was lacking normal necessities like tissues and a blow dryer.
While staff was nice- there seemed to be key elements missing. For being more expensive than hotels in the area- I would say it was not worth it.
This was a very cool new hotel. Easy walk into the cute town of Hudson. They are still working out some kinks, we didnât have hot water but staff was very understanding and offered us
This is a nicely designed brand new place with great atmosphere in a former factory. However it is quite noisy with no proper sound insulation from the floor above and the hallway, making it difficult to rest. The counter and sink in the bathroom are chromium steel. The sink is too small, which leads to water sitting all over the place. No hooks to place towels, very small mirror. No coffee or tea in the room. Overall a rather overpriced place that does not quite hold up what the photos promise.
The room was nice and clean, but the hotel itself was still under construction and it took 45 minutes for us to get in our room for check-in
I was able to ask for extended check out and we got two complementary drinks from the bar but overall they should have waited to open
