The location and the room was perfect for our plan around Algonquin. The room was perfectly set up and ready for our arrival - had all necessary amenities and kitchen utensils included. Dan was exceptional in his hospitality with us - he helped us plan local excursions as well as provided additional water bottles. We stayed at the end of September for 6 nights. The room was very cosy, comfortable and very clean. It was exactly what we were looking for, immersed in nature. The river behind the accomodation is great. Few minutes walk and there is a beautiful lake. It is easy to walk around to the few cafes and restaurants. 10mins drive from Algonquin west gate. Dan is a lovely host, full of great tips for your travel. We would highly recommend it
