Avoid this Place – Unacceptable Noise, Cash Demand

I strongly advise against staying here. My experience was incredibly disappointing and stressful from the start. First, the host demanded payment in cash (euros), even though I booked through Hotels.com and there was absolutely no mention of cash-only payment in the listing or confirmation. This forced me to withdraw money at a premium from ATMs — a huge inconvenience and cost that was completely unexpected. Second, the noise levels were unbearable. I was repeatedly woken up early in the morning by people knocking at my door and disturbances right outside the room. It felt chaotic and unprofessional — not at all like a place meant for rest. There was zero sense of privacy which I ended up becoming sick due to lack of sleep. What should have been a peaceful stay in Hvar turned into a frustrating experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Between the loud environment, the lack of transparency about payment, and people showing up unannounced at my door, I absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation. There are much better, more reliable places to stay in Hvar. Skip this one.

Very nice property and as matches the photos and descriptions. The cleanliness was impeccable and the ladies were very generous.There is a shared kitchen space where you can cook you own meals and that was very convenient for us. Overall the stay was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to book it again if I ever visit hvar.

We had wonderful time at Vila Lacman. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us useful information not only about town Hvar but about whole island. The premises were clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We like location and free parking. We were able to walk to the town, beaches and grocery stores. Great Getaway

The room was clean & it had great water pressure! We loved the location. It was less than a 10-minute walk to town and to the beach. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The property was adorable and quiet.

We loved the space and the location was even good but every night we were awakened by young people stumbling in drunk. One night the kid knocked on the door for several minutes then went and got the owner to come unlock the door! Not a good place to stay if you aren’t going to party. The ladies that greeted us were super nice and very helpful. Just not a good fit for two old people.

I loved my stay at Vila Lacman. My only regret is that i couldn’t stay longer. Super easy walk to the centre and beach. Lovely host and very quiet and considerate lodgings. Great kitchen for guest use too 👍 Everything was super clean and tidy.

We had an amazing stay at Vila Lacman—such a hidden gem! The hosts were incredibly kind, the room was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful view. It’s just a short, easy walk to Old Town, yet perfectly quiet at night. Highly recommend!

We loved this apartment as it was a very short walk from town. Quiet, safe and had an amazing view of the water and overlooking downtown Hvar. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. The balcony was a HUGE plus!!

Lovely property, nice outdoor space to enjoy as well as a great balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. About a ~12 minute walk into the town making it easy to explore. It is up a hill with a few steps so keep that in mind with luggage. Lena was so kind during check in.

A superbly located properly only moments away from the Old Town and beautiful beaches provided by a lovely, friendly and helpful family. The property was immaculately clean and well presented and included thoughtful touches such as the cold water in the fridge on arrival and beach towels. The memory foam mattress and excellent double glazing and air conditioning made for a perfect few nights sleep. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to return in the not too distant future. Thank you Familia Lacman :-)
