A unique experience, like being at the much-loved home of a dear older friend. Not at all your standardized hotel decor, everything is individual and unique. We loved the cosy feeling - but it is not everybody's cup of tea.
Plus, the place might look quaint, but it was spotless and well-equipped.
The only downside was, it was wintertime, so not all facilities were available/in order.
Near the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Old residence that lacks maintenance. Tiny shower with little pressure. In our room(4A), no table with chairs, power outlets not all working well.
A little upgrade from camping.
The place is truly run down. Our room was renovated but my 12 year old would have done that job. Definitely rushed, no attention to details.
Outside needs a lot of fix up, construction material and trash in the back
Now the location was great. Short walk from the beach and 20min walk from main Street. We enjoyed that a lot.
Check-in was easy but you will not see anyone. No breakfast. No instructions for wifi. Nothing, bare bones!
Not bad for the price, but the place needs some TLC. It is a quaint little place with so much potential. I believe the proprietor has plans to upgrade.
The location is great and will stay here again.
