We stayed at the Harvey House in Idyllwild for a girls’ weekend focused on bonding, peace, and quiet—and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the smell of fresh mountain air and pine set the tone for a truly restorative stay. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home right away. The dĂ©cor was gorgeous—thoughtful, stylish, and perfectly suited to the serene forest setting. Every single person in our group was genuinely delighted with the experience, and that says a lot. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already talking about our next visit. We will all be returning without hesitation. A very special mention must go to Jan—affectionately dubbed our “food fairy.” She was an absolute delight and hands-down our favorite person we met all weekend. Thoughtful, warm, and full of joy, she added an extra layer of magic to our stay. We’re still talking about her and smiling. What a gift to have crossed paths with her during such a special weekend.

My stay at Harvey House was great. The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up. It felt welcoming and was the perfect place to rest and recharge.

Our stay at Harvey House was great! Jan greeted us and helped us settle in on check in day. She was very helpful and kind. Our room was very clean, cozy and warm. The house is very updated and modern with cute decor. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and happy hour each day. The common area was so nice and we had a very relaxed time in there most nights. I would highly recommend a stay at Harvey House!

Harvey House completely blew us away! They upgraded our room because of an event, and when we walked in, there was a bottle of wine and a gorgeous charcuterie board waiting for us — such an amazing surprise! The place is cozy, full of charm, and the staff is incredibly responsive via text,and attentive. Jan is amazing manager who is very friendly and sweet. Every detail made our stay feel special. Honestly, it was unforgettable, and we can’t wait to come back. Harvey House is absolutely the place to be in Idyllwild!
