Quite location yet close to center of the town. Upstairs loft is amazing retreat with window on 3 sides. Front porch is great for morning gathering, or even reading a book. We went out to the backyard at night to see the stars that you won't see in the city. Downstair area has a low ceiling not affecting the experience too much as we went out at daytime. Overall the property is very clean. However the bedsheet has an oily smell, for whatever reasons.

30 years anniversary get away weekend

Wonderful stay our third stay at idyllwild inn , won't be our last . This time we stay in a 1 bedroom very roomy, beds are comfortable and cleaness housekeeper do a wonderful job. front desk were very helpful. Had a small issue with the heater Joseph from maintenance showed like less than 15 minutes and resolved the issue. I want to say thank you to all the staff at idyllwild inn for being professional and very helpful. Also forgot to mention that restaurants are walking distance and also the shopping stores .

Highly recommend this Hotel. It was walking distance from everything and great for families with children. The room was clean, beautiful, comfortable. Location was more than ideal and staff was very friendly.

We stayed at Idyllwild Inn’s other property, the Strawberry Creek Inn but swung by the former initially so I’ll base my review off both. The properties were charming, clean, and the staff were excellent at accommodating us and ensuring we got what was needed. The room was spacious, renovated, and overall, pretty clean. I can’t speak enough of the staff as they were super kind to us. Next time I come to Idyllwild, these properties will be first on my list to check out.
