Very well maintained beautiful older property, marble and granite floors and walls, large bedrooms very clean and comfortable beds. Will stay here again next year.
We were very impressed with the Imabari Kokusai Hotel. It is truly an elegant property with a wonderful lobby and choice on-site restaurant choices. I especially enjoyed the huge ship models in the lobby, paying homage to Imabari's ship building industry.
We would not hesitate to stay again and will make time during our next visit to have a drink at the bar and soak in the view of the Seto Inland Sea at dusk.
The onsen was very relaxing and the pleasant buffet breakfast was a treat!
Stayed here after cycling from Onomichi. Large room, very clean. Our stay included access to the hot Baths and breakfast. We ate at Chinese restaurant on site and it was excellent and good value.

The hotel was very glamorous and everything was too class especially the bathroom which was amazing
Professional and courteous service. Room spacious and amenities good. Choice of restaurants was great and the Japanese food was delicious. The only drawback was the heating system in the room which was permanently set at “too warm” and could not be adjusted.
Stayed here after biking the Shimanami Kaido. Bags were waiting in my room thanks to the same delivery service from Onomichi. Rode straight to the hotel cause it rained for half the route and I got soaked. Reception didn’t bat an eye at my condition and welcomed me graciously and efficiently. Room had signs of wear and tear but was clean and spacious. King sized bed and room for another! Got cleaned up and then returned my bike to Imabari station which, be aware is quite a way in to the city after the last bridge crossing. @500 taxi ride back to the hotel from there and I passed out. Have not had a noisy hotel yet in my week in Japan and no exception here. Viking Style breakfast included. Quick checkout and nice walk to the station. Dino Arigato and Mahalo to the Kokusai for your hospitality
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, amazing food in the hotel itself, near other amazing eateries, a laundromat if you decide not to use their cleaning service (chargeable) and reasonable walking distance to the local castle and museum, 12 minutes. Plenty of local cafes as well for variety. The local shopping alley evety summer holds festivals each saturday as well.
