Disliked: Cleanliness
I do not usually leave reviews, but I think people should be aware of this when looking to rent this property. I told the owner that we were traveling from the east coast and may arrive an hour early. I asked if we got in one hour early if we could “check in.” He said no because the cleaning crew would still be busy. When we arrived at the property there was trash outside and upon entering we found the floors sticky and dirt and trash left around the house. Clearly no one had been in yet to clean. We were tired and worn out from the trip so instead of waiting until the next day for another cleaner, we went ahead and vacuumed, mopped, and cleaned all surfaces. We washed all bedding because it was not clean. There were hairs and one sheet had a band aid stuck to it. The kitchen did not have one clean pan as those had layers of grime as well. He said he would “pay me back the cleaning fee and then some.” However, a few weeks later I found that he had given back 50. I understand that everyone can tolerate different levels of cleanliness, but this was gross. He said he was hiring a new cleaning crew, so hopefully your experience will be better than mine.
