Three days before I was scheduled to stay there, my son was diagnosed with a very contagious virus. Expedia reached to them on my behalf three times to request a cancellation or rescheduled date. They denied our request. I also called and emailed the general manager of the hotel and showed them the after visit summary from the doctor and was still denied due to the non-refundable reservation. They would rather allow my son spread the virus to other patrons than refund me a few hundred dollars. I was even willing to stay a different night so they wouldn’t lose money. I understand there is policy, but there’s also grace and human morals. Very disappointed and I have no plans to ever stay at a Hampton Inn.
