Not the worst but definitely not the best…

The staff was friendly, but the hotel was in some pretty rough shape. Our room wasn’t the most cleanly, there was dust bunnies everywhere, the window looked like it was spray painted, found what looked like pubic hair in one of the towels, and a few small stains on the bedding. The morning of us leaving around 4:45/5 am the fire alarm in our room went off for about 2-5 seconds but nothing seemed to be going on checked to see if anyone was leaving and didn’t see or hear anything. The pool had sand in the bottom and was getting kinda slimy like algae was starting to grow. Tv channels were the best but wasn’t to concerned since we only watched to wind down at night. The breakfast also was fairly good no real complaints there, the breakfast room was also in great shape. We also stayed away from the ice that was offered from the machine due to a good amount of mold growing in it.

We were in town for the Indianapolis 500. What we didn't like was paying over $200 per night for an $89 low quality hotel. We did not expect the Baymont brand to be this bad. Walking into the room, first you notice the shaking loose patched door security that wouldn't stop a lean, there were no hangers because there was no where to hang clothes, the bar had been removed. The bath tub was painted, the beautiful granite counters were 6 inches lower than standard, the bed clothing and towels had stains as well as the chair, and the carpeting turned socks black. The low flow shower head worked great, restricting waterflow to a mist. The room does have a mini refrigerator and microwave. Janky and sketchy at best.

Horrible smell!!!!

The hotel had a bad smell and when we got to our room the bathroom smelled like sewage. We had to keep the door closed so that the smell didn't spread to the entire room. They offered us another room but the situation was the same. We have stayed at Baymont hotels before but this one was very disappointing and we will never stay at this one ever again.

The attendant when we first arrived was very helpful!! The lock on the hotel room door did not work we had 2 towels for 3 people. There was a light right outside the window all night. No coffee maker in room. The breakfast had food clearly expired. There was no juice for breakfast the first day and no coffee the last day. Breakfast was very limited on Monday. When asked for additional towels for the pool I was told no. Never an attendant at desk to speak to about anything

Outstanding Staff Made a Tough Day Easier.

Although I didn’t end up staying at this hotel due to a mistake on my part with the booking, I still felt compelled to leave a review because of the outstanding service I received. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me during a stressful moment. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and patient while trying to assist me with rebooking options—even though it was my own error. Their professionalism and compassion truly stood out, and it's rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. If the level of care I received at the front desk is any indication of how the rest of the hotel operates, then I’m sure staying here would be a wonderful experience. I’m already looking forward to rebooking in the future and finally getting to enjoy a stay at what clearly is a well-run and customer-focused hotel. Thank you again to the amazing team!

Buyer Beware

The front desk staff was awful. No one was available at any time during the day, always had to call to get them. The "breakfast" was non existent. Stale biscuits, No hot food except waffles, The juice was empty three days in a row. The coffee tasted burnt. I expect more from a Wyndham property. The only good thing is the bed was comfy and the room was relatively clean. The pool also closed at 9pm which is weird time. Thankfully I only slept in the room and didn't spent time on property.. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Refrigerator did not close causing leaking. Floor was soaked. No rooms available to move. Front desk clerk did get up with towels. But unable to use refrigerator. No toilet paper had to go to front desk. No smoking but smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. Sketchy neighborhood and people renting rooms. Never will stay here again! Front desk clerk was nice and apologetic.
