They have filtered water and ice in the fridge! Amazing house and property. The pictures don’t show you all the amenities or beauty. A little far from the park but this is about the house and it is wonderful.

Great Getaway!

We came to the area for my son’s senior trip. We visited Yellowstone. The cabin was the perfect driving distance! We loved the cabin, it made us feel at home with all of the extra amenities! The hot tub was very nice and we also enjoyed the fire pit. You had everything we needed! Thanks for the amazing stay!

This is a beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood 30 minutes from the West entrance into Yellowstone. Seven family members had comfortable beds and loved the accommodations from the hot tub to fire pit to an awesome kitchen with all the extras! We would love to book here again! We enjoyed an early morning moose near the back deck one day!

Family Park Vacation

Great cabin with everything you’d need to feel at home! (Even the little things you don’t think about but end up needing while relaxing and making a meal.) It was a great home base for our family as we explored Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Wonderful experience, beautiful and relaxing place to be!

Yellowstone Adventure

The cabin floor plan and attention to detail was worth the daily drive from West Yellowstone. After long days in the park we looked forward to return to the super clean cabin and relaxing in the hot tub to plan the next days adventures. Thank you for making our experience extra special!

Great Get-Away!

What a lovely cabin to stay in on our summer get-away! We noticed all the extra's were thought out with care and comfort in mind! Thank you, thank you! Our 3 teenagers enjoyed having their own bedrooms and we absolutely adored that we were able to bring our small dogs...they had the best time too! This location is great for summer! You can tap into activity and restaurants with a short drive and retreat to the quiet forest for reprieve in the afternoon/evening. The back deck was a wonderful gathering spot for us each evening to enjoy the hot tub (which was really clean!), board games and the firepit! We will most definitely stay here again if we come back in the summer months. Cheers

Family vacation

We loved the cabin, we had the opportunity to relax in this beautiful and cozy cabin, which is 30 minutes from West Yellowstone National Park, where it had everything we needed, and relax in the jacuzy is a plus, I liked that they give us privacy and made us feel like we are in our home.

Colt Cabin Fever

Colt Cabin is so Amazing, you don’t want to leave. However, the beautiful outdoors demands it, Yellowstone was close and other many amazing attractions, activities that would take weeks to explore. Property Management are all top notch! We will be back.

Beautiful cabin!

We stayed at the cabin for Christmas. The cabin is beautiful and the hot tub was nice too sit in every night! Very clean Decoration were really nice. Pretty well stocked but a few things were broken. There was some miscommunication about a water boil advisory. So we had to buy bottled water from the local gas station which was expensive. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Cabin in quiet area

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed for our family and two dogs to comfortably stay in. The hot tub was a great bonus, it was not on the listing when we booked it!! After a long day in Yellowstone it was wonderful to relax on the back porch in the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back out this way.

The PERFECT get away

It was the cutest little area that the cabin was located. And only about 30 mins from West Yellowstone. It was beautiful and quiet. Perfect for sitting on the back porch, drinking coffee and listening to the birds! At one point we did do some walking down the roads and seen a doe. We also seen LOTS of tracks! My kids absolutely LOVED the cabin. They cried when it was time to leave.. they really thought it was our new home just because of how “home like” it felt! Shawna was an amazing host. She answered every little question I had and prepared us with a binder full of information and things to do around the area! I also want to brag a little more just because of how amazing she was. The area was under a boil advisory when we got there and she left cases of water in the cabin for us!! Definitely wasn’t expecting her to nor did we request it. SHE JUST DID THAT BECAUSE SHES THE BEST!

Loved it!

We really liked the cabin as soon we drove up. When we got inside the cabin was fresh, clean and exactly what the post mentioned. We got to the back deck and it even had a hot tub which wasn’t in the listing so that was a very nice surprise. We were impressed and are thinking about rebooking soon for next year.

Memorial Day weekend

Nice cabin was surprised to see a hot tub that wasn’t on the listing. Upon arrival had a notice about a boil water notice, didn’t receive anything from owner/rental agent until later, felt like we should have been notified prior to stay. The road in was muddy potholes glad we had a 4WD! The grill wouldn’t heat above 150 degrees so cooked our burgers inside.Otherwise, cabin was nice, clean and comfortable. Gift bag with huckleberry pancake mix and jam was a nice touch.

Nice cabin

The cabin was great. Rowdy campers next yo us with a dog that was never leashed snd always in our property. We couldn't get the fireplace to work. When I texted the host i was given a 4 word reply that didn't help. I felt like I was bothering her so I dropped it. It would have been nice to have a fire because over night lows were in the 30's.

Great property

This cabin was new and well stocked. We had 7 adults and never felt crowded. My only criticism would be, for a home that sleeps 9, there is no place for 7+ adults to sit down together for a meal. The outside table seats 6 and the inside table 4 plus the bar stools seat 4. But not one to fit 7 or more. We were there in October and it was too cold to eat outside at the bigger table. Everything else is perfect. Beds are really comfortable and rooms are spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies and the manager was very responsive when we didn't see a Toaster, they brought one over that day. It is easily accessible and yes felt secluded at the same time. It was quiet, when people were hpstairs you didnt hear footsteps down stairs. 30 min from west yellowstone entrance. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful, comfortable stay - and moose!

We had a wonderful stay here! Our host had welcome snacks/gifts waiting for us when we arrived. The house was very nice, new, and clean with new amenities, beds were comfortable, and overall we had a very comfortable stay. The highlight was seeing two moose hanging out in the backyard the first morning! The host responded in a very timely manner when I needed to contact them for clarity on how to operate the indoor fireplace. Island Park was quieter than the bustle of West Yellowstone, yet still convenient to stay for our 3 days visiting the park. The locals we met at nearby Connie’s restaurant were so friendly and gave us a recommendation to visit nearby Big Springs and Mesa Falls as well.

Great location and property!

We loved our stay at the Colt Cabin. Everything was exactly as it was shown in the pictures. With a little bit of driving, we saw Yellowstone and Grand Teton on multiple days. Island Park has a lot to see and do as well. Sitting on the back deck at night was so peaceful. Our family had a great time, and if we head this way again, we will absolutely try to stay here! Shawna was quick to answer questions (didn’t have many due to very complete instructions ahead of time and in a folder at the cabin), and offer advice for area attractions. This place really helped make our family vacation a great one!
