Comfortable beds, great accommodations, clean facility, cooler nights made for good sleeping too. Morning coffee or tea. Quiet. Close enough to West Yellowstone entrance. Host was informative, kind, and respectful.
I would recommend a flash light in the tents for the trek to the bathroom. We had to take off our shoes but the carpet was nasty. One shower didnât have much water.
The location of the property was fantastic for taking day trips into Yellowstone. The tent was nice and spacious for our family of four. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept great after a long day of hiking. Our only complaint would be the bathrooms. The size and cleanliness was what we expected with it being an off the grid campground. However, during our stay our showers ran out of soap and shampoo for multiple nights and the toilet trailer seemed to run out of water because the toilets were full of waste.
Checking in was super simple. They have a fun gathering area which included lawn games, swings and the fire pit for s'mores. Also an area with kitchenette to prep food if needed. We were only there one night before heading in to Yellowstone but the sleeping was comfortable and clean. Bathroom facilities were the closest to camping - pump flush toilets needed a little upkeep for the smell but for the most part toilets and showers were nice and convenient. They were installing permanent facilities so that will be an upgrade.
We absolutely loved glamping! GPS didnât quite have us arriving at the destination and it was dark. Instructions were clear once we found where we were going but the property didnât have clear markers, so finding our spot was tricky. Roads were crazy bumping but our site was perfectly hidden away and private. Bathrooms were too far to walk, especially at night without any lights. Loved the dark skis and sleeping was so cozy with plenty of blankets! We should have been a bit more prepared for the bathroom hike with flashlights and we never found any towels but our kiddos are already asking when we can return.
The bell tent was great and cozy, and the beds were very soft. The bathrooms were gross because they smelled and needed to be cleaned more often. Also, an suv is recommended because the road is rough.
Such a beautiful site! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated meeting people from all over the world while roasting marshmallows at the communal fire pit. Also, we saw a moose and its 2 calfâs, so adorable.
I loved how unique of an experience it was, my family and I enjoyed being away from the city and more close to nature. The tent was very spacious, the beds were so comfy, and the heavy blankets worked excellently to keep us warm at night (it was very cold). The team was super nice and made sure to send us all the info we needed prior to arriving. The only thing I would change is adding more lights to the entry path to the camp, as it was very dark at night and made it a little scary/difficult to find the hotel. And second, the reception/lobby tent was a bit messy, I'd work to make the entry more welcoming to the visitors. but overall great experience, me and my family are happy with our stay there
Spent 2 nights at Starlight. It was perfect except for the fact that we had to hear the generator for the bathrooms all night. Bathrooms were better than I expected but there was only a few minutes of hot water both times I tried them. I would definitely go back.
We had a great time Glamping! Beautiful area, easy drive from Yellowstone and helpful and friendly staff.
We stayed for two nights and it ended up raining a bit both days, which made for muddy roads through the campground but we just drive slow and walked carefully. Showers were a bit hit or miss as far as finding one that had warm/hot water but one was found each day and they had shampoo and conditioner in each one which was nice and not expected.
Even though the rain showed up each day, it stopped later in the evening and the staff still got a big campfire going for us all and provided sâmoreâs. one night it started raining during the campfire so we ran and sheltered under the office overhang and while we sat there waiting for the rain to stop, a big old moose came waking out of the woods and across the field right in front of the office.! Very fun experience!
A very unique experience. The tent was really nice and cozy. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy 7/1 so took away from the experience which is completely unpredictable.
Just something to know, they are expanding the tents but not adding bathroom/showers. From the map to get to tent, there are over 20 but six restroom/shower units. Thankfully they werenât at capacity during our stay because there was already a line to shower at 6:15am in 42 degrees. Since restroom and shower are in same unit, people had to line up for just restroom. Also the units are easy to find because the grass/weeds are grown in front of the signs. Didnât help that we were looking in the rain but had to find ours by process of elimination by signs we could see. With more bathrooms and cleaning up area tents, it would really help the experience
Great Stay. Lotus Tent was perfect for family of 4. Tent very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Bring warm clothes year round. Was 40 degrees at night in the tent.
This place was awesome as far as the tents and beds and all that. Very comfortable sleeping quarters. All of the beds were amazing! The staff was nice and friendly. It wasnât too far from the west entrance to yellowstone. The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the restroom situation. They are in the progress of getting the toilets and showers built. In the mean time they have portable ones in place. I would totally stay there again though!
