Beautiful gated neighborhood with so much to offer. The home is nicely decorated and has your basics to get started. The layout was perfect for two families.We spent most of our time at the pavilion—it has something for everyone, and the food is surprisingly good.

Great place to stay!

We came down for a girls weekend and it was such a great experience! The house was very clean and it was great that everyone had their own restroom. The pool was right there and the beach was just a short walk. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the hosts were very responsive about check-in procedures.

Beautiful getaway

Wonderful home to share with our adult children especially with the room and numbers of baths. Location is quiet and easy access to the beach. Wonderful communications with management company. They were quick to reply on questions and recommendations on what to do. A delightful stay.

What an amazing weekend we had in this beautiful home! Long time friends, near and far, added another memory to 40 year friendships! The house had everything we needed and more, close to everything, owners/mgt extremely responsive. One of our favorites was sunrise and coffee on the balcony. Highly recommend this home!

Dirty Clothes for the Week

Upon check in (Place was 30 minutes late due to cleaning) we discovered the washing machine was broken. Long story but the property manager and owner dragged their feet on remedying the problem - ultimately no washer until the last day while packing up. We flew to the resort and only packed enough clothes for 3 days so we had no clean clothes by mid week. I asked for a credit for the stay, and was promised one -- but "it had to go through accounting". To this day, almost 2 weeks after leaving, I have received nothing. Very disappointed .

Family reunion at the beach!

The house was perfect for our 3 adult children and their significant others. Large gathering area for nightly card games and covered deck for reminiscing. Each bedroom had its own bath and shower which was a great surprise. The beach was a good 10 minute walk down the street and across a golf course trail but well worth the hike. The beach was not very crowded and gave us private beach vibes. We rented a couple of bikes and enjoyed the bike paths that run throughout the Wild Dunes Resort property. I would highly recommend the house & the Isle of Palms for your next vacation.

Well Equipped, Beautiful Vacation Rental

My family and I just spent a week on Isle of Palms staying at Sea Sponge. The home is very well equipped, having everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds comfortable, and the home was clean. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood in Wild Dunes with only a short walk to the beach. The beach itself was very quiet and not crowded at all which was wonderful. I would recommend renting beach chairs and umbrellas because having to take those to the beach each day would be a hassle, especially during the hot summer months. However, there was a wagon at the home which would help. During our stay, the pool area (located right out the back door of the home) was closed due to circumstances beyond iTrip's control - apparently the pool had been closed since Memorial Day weekend per the health department. iTrip communicated this closure to us about a week before we arrived and gave us a 25% credit for the inconvenience. iTrip also communicated well during the whole process and were prompt to respond to questions we had. The only issue we had was spotty hot water throughout the week (someone did come to look at it, but it probably needs further investigation). It wasn't that big of deal, but worth noting. Overall, this is a great home for a family - comfortable with beautiful views and well equipped for all your vacation needs.

Underwhelming

I did issue with the properties that there were insufficient communication about hot water, access, insufficient provision of towels for eight adults. We received a total of eight bath size towels. In addition, paper products were hoarded as if there were a shortage. The provision of hygiene supplies was, a pittance for eight people staying for seven nights. This is a costly rental and certainly did not live up to expectations. Finally, this beachfront property is in sight of the beach, but has no direct access whatsoever that should've been emphasized in the property description.

4 couples in for a family wedding

The home was very nice, the only complaint is that we weren't made aware that we would only be allowed to park 2 vehicles at the property until a few days prior to arrival. we had 3 vehicles coming from out of town to stay at the property for a family wedding. We were told we would not be able to park all of our cars there so we had to leave one of the vehicles at a relatives house 40 minutes away. We also was not happy with the upstairs master bathroom window that had no window covering and felt that the windows in the house next door could have visual to both the shower and the tub.

Ocean stay

The house was very clean and access to the beach was a short distance. The main living area could've benefited from another sofa capable of seating 3 people comfortably. The gated community was fine. However it was difficult for late arriving house guests to get to the house. The guards sent the driver to a different gate rather than allowing them entry through the main gate. That is all well and good as long as the driver was familiar with the property but, he wasn't. The driver eventually found the gate after some more phone calls and frustration. The house is fine and more travel lessoned learned when vacationing in a gated community.

Perfect fall getaway at 33 Ocean Point! We’ve brought our kids and grands here for years, and this is the second time we’ve stayed in this gorgeous home. The updates and upgrades this year are fantastic.Hospitality and so many extra, unexpected treats and thoughtful touches put this place over the top.
