There are so many great things about this property. I’d start with the amazing staff, so helpful and friendly, accommodating your every needs. The location is perfect for exploring the old city, walking distance to major attractions as well as dozens of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I can genuinely recommend GLK Premier Sea Mansion Suites and Spa for your next trip to Istanbul!

Charming hotel, great location, highly efficient and professional staff. Only quibbles are that the foam pillows are hard as rocks and breakfast coffee is substandard. A Nespresso machine that does not cost extra at least at breakfast if not in all rooms would add a lot, as would daily fresh water bottles. Charging extra for those amenities seems a bit chintzy; I would suggest just increasing the daily room rate by $5 for everyone would more than cover the added costs. View of the Sea of Marmara from our room and the breakfast area is fantastic. Travelers with mobility challenges should be warned that the area, like much of Istanbul, can be a bit difficult to navigate by walking.

This location is great if you’re interested in seeing the older area of Istanbul with the historical buildings all close by. There are restaurants everywhere nearby, as well as markets and shopping.

Had a wonderful time at GLK. The upgraded room , which had a spacious balcony, was very much appreciated. The room was somewhat spacious and well appointed. The bathroom and shower were also very good. The location was borh quiet and quite convenient to all the nearby attractions. Very safe neighborhood. Finally, the staff were very friendly and informative, and catered to all your needs. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to all at GLK for making our week long stay memorable.

I booked this hotel for the Turkish Bath. I received very little information about the process, even after stating that this was my first Turkish bath. After an hour in the sauna and bath, I tried calling for my attendant. The phone didn't work. I finally went out to the front desk to ask. He told me that I had no attendant since I didn't sign up for the massage. WHAT?? Therefore, I wasted an hour in a sauna/steam room without getting the scrub that IS part of a Turkish bath. My one and only time to experience a Turkish bath didn't happen and was a waste of time. Very disappointed.

There were two great highlights to this hotel - the location and the front desk representative, Salih. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Basilica Cistern. Salih was warm and welcoming and helped with a nice dinner recommendation. He gave me a nice welcome drink of water and orange juice. The hotel itself was just okay. Breakfast was decent, but needed more protein options. My main challenges were with the maintenance and general room conditions. The shower head sprayed everywhere, there seemed to be sand all over my floor, and the pillows were very flat.

The image of the room i thought i was getting was not what i was given. I paid for a suite to sleep 3 people , what i got was a very small double room with a pop up bed and the tram ran until midnight right underneath my window. I had no option but to check out after our first night . I feel i have been overcharged for a much smaller room at premium price . Breakfast was ok. The staff seemed nice though.

Fabulous staff. My only suggestion is to replenish complimentary bottled water as needed as tap was not potable. It was inconvenient to have to stop for a large bottle every day. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel and will be returning with my husband.

Booked a view with a sea view and a balcony. Was at first given a room in the basement of a their annex building, which in face did not have a sea view, instead it had a view of some construction and train tracks that shook the room when trains passed by, and had bugs in the bathroom. After the first night in the basement, was moved up a floor in the annex building, and still did not have the sea view of balcony that I booked. I appreciate that the management tried to help out, but I was given significantly less than I paid for.
