Stayed on and off during trip and so had three different rooms. Great location, but hotel seems a bit under renovation. In all three rooms the TVs didn’t work (they couldn’t fix them - we didn’t care but others might). One room had no electricity and guy came and blew out whole floor. He fixed that but then AC didn’t work. One room shower didn’t work. Last room but not have been ready after a renovation - no soap holders in shower, no toilet paper holder, refrigerator not plugged in, TV not plugged in (and there was no where to plug it in. The cleaning women do a great job. The guys at front nice but not sure they know how to troubleshoot.

We stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. The property itself felt quite old and worn out, from the furniture to the bedding, which didn’t feel fresh or comfortable. While the staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay, several facilities were not up to standard. A baby cot was not available on the first night, and when provided the next day, it appeared unclean and too small for our baby’s height. The iron board was tiny, the bin lid didn’t work properly, and the TV wasn’t functioning at all. Breakfast was below average with limited variety, and there were no baby-friendly options such as porridge. For families traveling with young children, this was a major drawback. Overall, despite the kind staff, the condition of the hotel and its amenities fell short of expectations.

I had a truly wonderful experience at the Great Fortune Hotel & Spa. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, offering both comfort and convenience, but what made my stay especially memorable was the outstanding service provided by the staff. A very special thanks goes to Bunyamin, the receptionist, whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality made me feel welcomed from the very first moment. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. His attention to detail, warm smile, and helpful guidance truly elevated my experience. I would also like to sincerely thank his colleague Sarkan, who was equally attentive and courteous. Together, they created an atmosphere of comfort and trust, making me feel at home even while being away. The hotel facilities, cleanliness, and spa experience were excellent, but it is the outstanding team spirit and dedication of Bunyamin and Sarkan that I will always remember. They are a real credit to the hotel, and because of them, I would not hesitate to recommend Great Fortune Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Istanbul. I look forward to returning soon.

A low end hotel with old building and otger facilities. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny, and the lifts can't accommodate more than 3 persons. The best thing about the hotel is its location as it is conveniently located near the main attractions and also has lot of food options nearby. The staff was friendly and supportive .

La chambre était extrêmement bruyante, entre la fenêtre qui donnait sur la rue passante et ma porte en face de l’ascenseur, c’est très mal isolé, impossible de dormir le matin, j’étais réveillé par les discussions des clients de l’hôtel et du personnel. La télé ne fonctionnait pas, un membre du personnel a essayé de la faire fonctionner mais il n’a pas réussi. Il m’a dit qu’un technicien viendrait la réparer le lendemain matin, personne n’est jamais venu. La salle de bain ne comporte aucun rangement, difficile de prendre une douche tellement la pression de l’eau est faible, on peut à peine se rincer. Les photos sont plus que vendeuses, le spa ne donne vraiment pas envie de rentrer dans la piscine. J’avais réservé cet hôtel principalement pour la piscine, je n’y ai pas mis un orteil et je n’ai vu personne s’y baigner. Très déçu de cet hôtel à 150 euros la nuit, on est très loin du service d’un hôtel de ce standing.

Es gibt eigentlich nur 2 Sachen die nicht 100% waren: Instantkaffee zum Frühstück und der Frühstücksraum selber( Zu kein und schmutzige Scheiben- was die Aussicht auf die Hagia Sofia trübt) Allerdings wurde mir versichert das all dies noch dieses Jahr renoviert bzw. Verbessert werden würde. Würde ich wieder dieses Hotel buchen? Ich glaube schon.
