Disappointed. Pros - Amazing view. Location walkable to mosques and bazaar. Restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Good aircon but struggles to cool the room down when very hot. Cons - Poor hygiene/cleaning and lacking attention to detail. When we arrived, the bathroom had building debris left from electric work done during the day. The room itself was not properly cleaned during our stay. Did not use the jacuzzi as there was hair left in the plug from previous guest, and this was not removed even during our stay. Fridge was leaking some liquid, this was raised but ignored. There was a strong sewer smell in bathroom. Becomes massive hot box during the day without constant aircon. Overall not worth the price paid. Sadly could be an amazing place to stay if cleaned properly.

My biggest complaint with this property is cleanliness. our room was so insanely dusty. there was old hair in the shower and our coffee machine was covered in dust .fridge smelled off aswell. they also didnt book our return transfer and we were rushing to find a cab last minute. the front desk people were nice but cant say i recommend staying here. location was amazing though

Adorable hotel

Very cute hotel. Check in and out was fast and friendly. No lift in case anyone is bringing a lot of luggage. Great bath products. Awesome location. Would reccomend they have bigger bath towels. More power outlets would be nice but probably difficult in renovated heritage homes...

This hotel felt incredibly homely and comfortable. It was well located close to restaurants and both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, yet it was very quiet and peaceful. The room was light and airy and immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstandingly good in terms of quality and choice.

beds as tough as rocks!

great location. old hotel with terrible beds and bedding. very tough beds they are as soft as rocks. the service was good and the local area is good but will not stay in this hotel again. it is a 4 or 5 not an 8 even by european standards.

A hotel that lives up to its name.

We stayed in room 302- the third floor 'suite'. It is one very spacious room plus bathroom. It has superb views of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus from the Windows/balcony doors that stretch along one wall. The decoration and furniture are baroque- perhaps too fussy for some, though we liked it. The breakfast is simple though adequate, but the breakfast room enjoys fabulous views of the sea. Overall, a very pleasant experience. It is perfectly situated for all the major sites of Sultanahmet.

Perfect location,walking distance to all the major sites. The staff was very helpful and friendly.The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. Breakfast on the roof had a great view. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.

Quaint little hotel

Large and spacious room and bathroom. Friendly staff who helped with the luggage and taxi bookings. Hotel interior is nicely decorated with paintings and furnishings. Located in a safe area close to the Arasta Bazaar. The only downside was the free buffet breakfast. It was the worst we've encountered during our travels in Turkey. The bread and the biscuits were stale and the fruits/vegetables were not fresh. The boiled eggs had seen better times. The coffee tasted awful. Even a young Turkish couple who were having breakfast stated that the milk had gone bad and food should be much better than this.
