outdated rooms. shower head was about to come off from the wall. mold clearly seen in the bathrooms. rooms look like they haven’t been renovated since the 80s. rooom near the elevators had stacks of furniture and random stuff making it look like we weren’t staying in a supposedly 4 star hotel.

Great position and excellent reception staff (Fatma in particular and Sinan). Too much food for breakfast until we realised we could choose and not have it all. In addition to didn't like (above) the lift to our 3rd floor didn't work sometimes and there was a nasty smell when we entered the room (4007) - perhaps from a smoker?? Bed? Didnt like the floppy mattress cover.

I highly recommend a stay at this property. The room was very nice with a balcony. The location is unbeatable since it is near the Hagia Sophia, Bazaar and transportation. What we enjoyed the most is that the staff was amazing, always asking us if they can do anything to make our stay great and offering drinks. Fatima Murat, Kadir, and Sinan went above and beyond to make our trip to Istanbul the best we’ve trip ever had and we travel very often. Exceptional service.

Overall a nice stay. The location was perfect, so close to the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. The Grand Bazaar is @20 minutes by foot. The rooftop restaurant provides a majestic view of this side of the city. My only issue was the very small size of the room (which compares to Tokyo size, for those who know). And the bed wasn't very comfortable and was so narrow that I thought I might easily fall off when asleep. The staff were very helpful and kind. Worth the stay though I would choose a bigger room next time around.

The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is clean and well ventilated, our AC worked really well. We got a spacious "three adults" size room as advertised. I really like that they always had water bottles when you ask at the front desk so we all stayed hydrated all the time.

Seven Hills Hotel delivers one of the most iconic experiences in Istanbul. The rooftop offers absolutely breathtaking views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia — an unmissable spot for photos, whether you're staying there or just stopping by. Service is top-notch. The staff are genuinely friendly, and the rooftop restaurant team, especially the waitresses, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Meals are very reasonably priced, and the included Turkish breakfast is enormous and authentically prepared. I arrived early, and while my room wasn’t ready, Fatma and the front desk team worked hard to accommodate me. When the check-in took longer than expected, they generously upgraded me to their top suite — complete with Hagia Sophia views and an in-room spa. It was a perfect gesture and made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended. Would return without hesitation.

Fantastic Stay at Seven Hills – Exceptional Staff

I had a truly enjoyable stay at Seven Hills. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and attentive service. A huge thank you to Sinan, Fatima, and the wonderful cleaning staff—each one of them went out of their way to make me feel welcome and cared for. My room was spacious, spotless, and well air-conditioned, providing a cool and quiet retreat even in the heart of bustling Sultanahmet. Despite the lively surroundings, the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, ideal for resting after a day of exploring. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a few steps from the Blue Mosque and within walking distance of all the major historic sites. For those arriving by car, don’t worry about parking—the concierge handled the on-site parking beautifully, making the process effortless. The only downside during my stay was the unreliable internet connection, which frequently dropped and required repeated logins. This was a bit inconvenient, especially if you need consistent access. That said, the overall experience at Seven Hills was fantastic. I would gladly stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul for the service, comfort, and unbeatable location.
