the staff is friendly they talk English and Arabic but they don't clean the room even if we ask, we reserve a deluxe room it was moisture and too small, the breakfast was not bad but there's no diversity always was same, the hotel was not so far from Beyazit station but you need to climb not to walk for 7 mins or you need to take Yeni Kapi station with 15 mns walk
Good overall value.

wifi sucks, area is so-so, parking and driving around sucks
small rooms
We had chosen this hotel because it came with free parking, however when arrived the one parking space on a narrow crowded street outside was already taken, so we were directed to a parking lot two blocks away where we had to pay a further 250 lira for secure parking.
We had booked a deluxe double room with queen size bed, however we were given an internal room, 8 feet wide and with a window looking onto the ventilation shaft. Very claustrophobic and dissapointing.
Very upset about the rooms 2 small for 3 people shower room very small had to pay approx 350 Euro more breakfast was not nice very basic we had to complain to get a better 1 the only 1 time I ate breakfast I was sick would not recommend it the hotel was clean staff very nice hotel manager could not understand us first 3 days stay we move everyday to a different room they were 18 people with me and having to pay the money was not right no discount telephoned Expedia twice not very helpful
Great staff- very accommodating.
Good variety of breakfast.
Location is 20 mins walk from the Blue Mosque but it's uphill.
Good little shops and local eateries about.
Room cleaning did need to be requested.
But water, tea bags and toiletries provided generously.
If you are looking for a luxury hotel this isn't the one for you.
Roads are not smooth around and some pavements narrow.
Nearest airport is attaturk not sabiha-- Expedia failed to tell us this.
Room had enough beds but not completely separated and only 1 loo between 6 of us.
The loo is more like a wet room.
Probably without small kids the location did provide a great daily workout up the hill to the main road which took you to all the main attractions in Istanbul and or the tram or tube - so would recommend to some.
After reading so many outstanding reviews I thought it'd be a rather good hotel. However when my family and I arrived at the hotel they didn't have the room we paid for available, which was a family friendly room with a connecting balcony. There was 5 of us and they offered us a room with 2 single beds. We were shocked. After a lot of discussion they told us that the rooms we paid for had been allocated to someone else and there was a mistake in the system. Despite having contacted them before our stay, We had to make do with another room for the night. However this was Resolved the next day when they cleared the rooms we initially paid for. However it wasn't like the pictures we saw beforehand. It was very small and not family friendly. There wasn't much space/ draws for our clothes so we had to keep them in our lugages. The wifi was also very very poor. The breakfast didn't have much selection either. They offered cheese and salami and some fruits. However the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall our experience (as a family) was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner takes personal interest in his hotel and is on site every day. Rooms were clean and have air-conditioners. Shops, restaurants, takeaways, bakery, pharmacy and dominos pizza closeby.
