Room smelled of smoke, sink needed unblocked. Interior and rooms were outdated. The day staff at reception take a long time to even acknowledge you, and take a very long time bringing your car around. They didn't even label my car key with my room number and had it mixed up with another key! The worst part of the experience was when checking out, they asked if I had used anything from the mini bar, which I replied I had not. After checking me out, they told me to not to leave until they checked my room, first I've ever come across this at any hotel. They tried to charge me for a can of Cola which they had seen in the bin. The can was from my Domino's order which they could see from the packaging, the can was also a different design from the one's in the mini bar which still had the original cans of Cola from checking in. Such audacity! The breakfast is decent along with the evening/early morning staff. Location is very ideal. However, there are cheaper and better hotels in the area with much better service.

Nice room, and an alright stay for Izmir

Staff we’re fairly rude at check-in, and added a €20/night charge for the booking being for 1 person rather than 2. Other than that, we’re very cold and unwelcoming the rest of the time. As well, housekeeping did not come once during the 3 night stay. I booked a room with a terrace; the room itself was quite spacious, and the balcony was nice with a slight bit of an ocean view (mostly obstructed by buildings infront). The bed was comfortable, and the room had adequate amenities. However, the room did get extremely hot throughout the day, and the A/C was not strong enough to keep up with demand. Location is right by pasaport pier, so it is a nice spot to walk along the water. it is not very close to transit, and other than a few restaurants and cafes there is not a lot in the immediate area.

Their rooms are small and a bit dingy. They also don’t have any non-smoking rooms; hence, smoke smell. Bathroom was in disrepair and there was a hole on the bed cover sheet. The guest who came to the next room at midnight made noise until I knocked on their door at 2:30 a.m. The walls are so thin that it was as if they were in our room. For American travelers: This hotel was at Motel 6 level. O.K. for one night but I wouldn’t stay longer or go back for another stay. However, the area this hotel was located was very nice, close to the water, restaurants, and shops.

The hotel is very close to the waterfront and the many dining options that the waterfront provides. Ferry stations are very close and there is a taxi stand right across the street. It is only a 10 minute walk from the nearest Tram Station. Daily breakfast is good although it doesn't offer as many food choices as larger buffets. The staff is very friendly and eager to please.

The hotel is close to the pier and many cafes/ restaurants. It’s also about 5 mins walk from the post office (for those of you who like to send postcards). It’s on a street of other similar hotels and office buildings. It’s about 20mins walk to the ancient city of Symrna, which was the highlight of my 2 day stay. I used Izmir as a base to do day trips to Ephesus, Meryemana house, Artemis temple, Isa Bey Camii and a Seljuk village close to all the major sights. Unfortunately on my last night, Izmir had an earthquake of 4.7 Richter scale, about 9km from the shore, ie really close! The hotel was fine (and so were all of us) but some hotels nearby suffered from cracks. Now I know why Ephesians abandoned their great city… just something to beat in mind. I would stay here again if I was in Izmir.

The hotel is good, clean, friendly staff, excellent location. Breakfast could have been better needed more choice, there were no cold meats and apples the only fruit, boiled egg the only cooked item. The coffee area is by the reception desk and from a machine, coffee machine also in the breakfast room so no fresh coffee. I would recommend this hotel it was only the breakfast that let it down.

Ich hatte dieses Mal ein normales Zimmer an sich ganz ok, aber Bad Wc waren dieses Mal sehr klein und nicht mehr ganz so frisch. In der Dusche hat eine Tür gefehlt. Und die Dichtungen sahen auch nicht mehr ganz frisch aus. Aber ansonsten war alles gut. Bis auf Dusche und wc 8/10 Punkten.
