Very attractive but not always functional. You get an A+ for the comfortable king-size bed and its linens, and for the art work on the walls: the slice of agate, the mandalas of leaves, the prints of 18th century lace, the whimsical Florida maps. The porch has a lovely feel, up among the leaves of the big trees outside.
But the stovetop heats unevenly; the corners of the area rugs flop over and become a hazard; the sink in the master bathroom drains very, very slowly, even after we treated it with something to clear it. We also cleaned the shower head to allow more water to come through - about a third of the holes were blocked.
There are way too many pillows in the place - we piled many of them on the bed in the second bedroom when we had visitors - I donât know where you put them if you have someone sleeping in that bed.
