Street construction during our stay hampered our ability to enjoy the complex. We couldn't walk our dog, and everything was muddy. That explains why the unit was available, but the management company should have told us. The location was good. Restaurants closer to the city pier were great, especially O-ku. The beach was beautiful, an we had great sunrises each morning and really cool lightning shows at night.
As far as the unit goes, it was small and basic. The arm chairs were very uncomfortable. I recommend replacing the cushions. The kitchen faucet also needs replacing, as the water came out in a dribble. There were no ceiling fans in the bedrooms, making them much hotter than the main room. They provided stand up oscillating fans, but I needed to plug my phone it to that outlet, so I can't tell you if it would have helped. There was no coffee provided, not even for the 1st morning, so we had to slosh through the mud on our arrival night for coffee.
Overall, for the price, I think I'd try a different place, but the view was awesome.
