Spend the day relaxing at the beach, practising your swing on The Villas of Amelia Island's golf course or pampering yourself at the full-service spa. Then enjoy a meal at one of the holiday home's 9 restaurants. All homes are individually decorated and offer free WiFi and free local calls. For a bit of entertainment, guests will find flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and other amenities include furnished balconies and premium bedding. Housekeeping is available on request.
The Villas of Amelia Island offers 350 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features a safe and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies. The resort was amazing but the villa that I stayed at had some issues, especially without having housekeeping throughout the stay. None of the bsthroom doors were aligned to be locked. We were only supplied 1 roll of toilet paper for each of the three bathrooms. Certain lights did not work and we found gsrbage behind the dressers in the bedrooms. I suggest to stay at the hotel if possible and not pay the high amount for the villa. Again the resort outside the villa was amazing and i highly recomment.

Absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Pool area was clean and not crowded. Beachfront was pristine and peaceful. Enjoyed seeing turtles, rabbits and even an armadillo!

Very large complex, something between a hotel and an Air B&B. You have acess to the hotel amenities but are in a separate location, everything is assessable via yheir tram.

Given incorrect key to room. Found right room. Not ready. Elevator was not working. Had to carry luggage up to third floor. Down to correct room on 2nd floor. It was not ready. Had to lug stuff back to car and drive to Omni resort where they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. We are in our late 70s. This was not a very pleasant experience. We were put in a very nice room at the Omni resort so that did ease the pain somewhat. Thank you.

Will not return! Beware - know before you go!

Didn’t see the pool in the pictures the entire time. Unit was no where near the beach and not as advertised. It was a 10 minute walk and not what we were expecting based on these nice pictures. Unit had ants and the bed needed to be replaced. Overall not a great experience, especially with all of the added fees that were not disclosed on hotels.com. They were supposedly running a promotion for kids to eat free for breakfast and lunch on the property, but every time we asked they said it wasn’t available for one reason or another. It would have been better to not have the promotion or not mention it to us at all! The beach was very clean and peaceful. There were some very good restaurants on the island (not part of the resort). Overall, I would not recommend this resort for the above reasons. The listing should definitely be more clear about which pool is at which location and they are not all the same. Including the actual picture of the pool at the Courtside Villas.

The room was completely different than the room shown upon booking. The "villa" was outdated with brown carpet, musty smell, and both queen beds did not have fitted sheets. They were covered with flat sheets instead. The duvet inserts were not covered either and I doubt from the overall cleanliness of the room that they wash them after each guest. We had stayed in a room at the hotel in January 2023 and had a similar experience. We thought we would give the Omni another try because of the resort amenities, but the villas were just as gross.
